Possibly going to buy a mower this weekend. :coffee:
Still haven't bought one. Yard completely waterlogged after three days of rain - will need a week to dry out.

You might be able to get him to let you know what model of hay bailer he uses

#4 done. I left work a little early to get it done before the youngest’s game tonight. I’ll likely have to hit it again this weekend. No hayfield here but it was getting long in spots. The property at the back of the Compound has gas’s 6+ inches high, I think they waited too long.

I was going to say that I pulled a FT but he'd never leave work to do work at home.

I would never leave work early to cut the lawn and I hate my job. :coffee:

Sixth straight day of rain. EGO mower purchased this morning. Maybe Sunday or Monday?

BostonNut 05-09-2025 12:12 PM

I’m looking at Sunday. Might require two passes!

Stupid Boo and his gross weather he loves so much.

Boo 05-09-2025 12:15 PM

Hayfield Bnut in full effect!

Cold and rainy? It barely cracked 40 degrees here today.

BostonNut 05-10-2025 02:33 PM

Bnut Gardens: 1

Harold’s Hayfield: 0

The rain stayed away and the sun even came out for a bit! ‘Ole Torrey Toro fired up on the second pull!

Glad to be on the board.

First mow today.

fulltritty 05-11-2025 11:32 AM

My son is outside cutting the front lawn now.

hairysasquatch 05-11-2025 02:35 PM

Mow #1 logged. Also trimmed hedges. New E-GO mower mulched well and is really light. I'm a bit concerned about durability but we'll see.

Boo 05-11-2025 04:38 PM

#5 finished, no durability question here with Big Red. Rain most of the week so it will be next weekend at the earliest that I hit #6.

ssbledsoe 05-12-2025 07:38 AM

Probably neck and neck for finish time with Poo on #5 - was done about 5:30 as well yesterday

#6 finished, the whole Compound. It was getting high, not Hayfield Bnut high but getting there. Couple of rabbits and a swallow that thought about dive bombing me.

Probably saw the maniacal look in your eyes as it got close to your ride on and thought better of it...:coffee:
