Right above Teixeira and Murphy is sad |
Correa- 5
Rizzo- 9 Donaldson- 12 Abreu- 20 Upton- 23 DeGrom- 25 Gordon- 38 I'll take it |
Here are mine:
#21 - Chris Sale #29 - Edwin Encarnacion #30 - Madison Bumgarner #39 - David Price #42 - Buster Posey #51 - Christian Yelich #65 - Kyle Seager #79 - Addison Russell #87 - Matt Kemp #100 - Stephen Piscotty 10 out of the top 100 ain't too bad in my opinion. It'd be cool if every team posted their lists so we could compare. |
Not putting much faith into these keeper rankings. They're kinda ridiculous

I think it's a pretty good list |
Eh, I have a tough time buying into the idea of 2 guys that haven't ever even played a full season being in the top 10. I know age and potential matter, but wow. Then there's stuff like, with my team for example, Buxton at 63 and Dozier at 105? Could go on and on. It's a fun projection to consider, I just don't buy into it much

Coming from the guy who said Sano will be a top 5 player in the league next year
|
Do you guys like national treasures? I know they don't have logos, but I think they're much nicer than bowman and topps chrome rookies
|

Definitely not nicer then topps chrome. |
Definitely not nicer then topps chrome.
Idk, I'm not a fan. I wanted to buy a Syndergaard before the season and went with NT. Basketball sells for crazy prices and the only thing holding baseball back are the logos |
These rankings will be so different next year, but 10 in top 90 -- I'll take it :D
7 - Arenado 32 - JD Martinez 35 - Corey Seager 50 - Sonny Gray 52 - Chris Archer 55 - Rougned Odor 58 - Adam Jones 76 - Aroldis Chapman 86 - Ken Giles 88 - Kolten Wong |
So stopped by Twins before heading to Miami

Sano will win the 2016 A.L. MVP. You're free to disagree, but this kid is going to explode with his first full season. His power is completely unreal. |
Here's my top-100 list:
3 - Manny Machado 11 - Mookie Betts 14 - Jose Altuve 22 - Jose Fernandez 24 - Jake Arrieta 26 - Joey Votto 27 - Xander Bogaerts 53 - Jose Bautista 66 - Carlos Carrasco 72 - Marcus Stroman 78 - Johnny Cueto 92 - Garrett Richards 93 - Danny Salazar 101 - Jacoby Ellsbury -- this one really makes me question the list... |

It's ok to disagree, but you can't base your opinion on games played when Correa has played more than Sano |

The kid hit 18 home runs and didn't debut until July. Give him April, May and June and look out. Don't forget that the Twins were alive all the way until Game 161 last year and that the MVP usually goes to a member of a playoff squad. Harper was the exception and rightfully so. I'm picking the Twins to take a Wild Card spot. The Royals are still too loaded to give up the Central, but baseball is finally back in the Twin Cities. |

You can compare him to Harper and I can compare him to Gallo. Doesn't really matter |
awz, if mid-season you ever need to break out of a slump, I recommend a name change to your ol' callsign.... Black Magic.
:D  |

If you're going to give him April, May and June don't forget about the strikeouts adding up with the "projections". |

Are you implying he'll be the next Harper? I'm just trying to be realistic. Bryant, Sano and Gallo will all struggle with avg and strikeouts |

I don't think they'll make the same mistakes as before. |
Hmm. We should do a group break sometime. If we each pitched in like 10-20 bucks, we could get a box or two of something cool and then run a random order to draft off the hits. Or let people claim cards from their team or something like that. Would be fun
|
How big of the boxes? I'm not too sure about what a group break is or does. I have an idea but don't know the specifics.
|
Yeah the thing about picking a box is we need something where everyone could at least get something in return, so stuff with only a few cards (Inception, etc) are out. But if we did just like a Series 1 box, there would probably only be a few cards that are "worthwhile" before there's a big dropoff and it's just base cards. So we might need to get a few boxes, if we'd want to do it, but that would increase how much everyone would need to chip in
