13 down

I’m not afraid of a little heat, so I mowed after getting the kids lunch

Boo 07-07-2025 06:34 PM

#14 finished about 10 minutes before it started to rain. Stuff is thick, I raked up a little spot where it was looking like Bnut Hayfields. Not dying anytime soon. Saw another baby rabbit in a different spot, it wasn’t a NN like the other one, it ran the other way.

#6 done with a trim of the hateful hedges!

Boo 07-13-2025 07:57 AM

#15 yesterday afternoon before we got a couple of raindrops. It’s not slowing down with the rain every other day. Going to blow away last year’s total.

It's super crispy here in WNY, don't need to cut the front but I do need to cut the back which is in the shade (luckily).

Water bills will be on the rise in my neighborhood this month...

#14 done today

Rain rolling through right now, so timing was good

Boo 07-17-2025 05:24 PM

#16 in the books. I didn’t do the way back of the Compound last time, it was Bnut hayfield this time. Need the rain to stop. I’ll have to fill up my two 5 gallon containers for next time, third time this year.

15 down

Looking like I’ll have to pull a Poo and do a mid week mow

Getting thick - just like Poo likes his “partners”

Lawn care is NOT a hobby, people!

Only if you have a FF.

fulltritty 07-21-2025 07:36 AM
Only if you have a FF.
Nope. Only if you don't have a riding lawnmower and a beer. :D I'd rather clean my entire house than sweat my butt off outside mowing the lawn and getting eaten up by bugs.

This seems more like a chair force taek than a navy taek...chief always took good care of his grass no???

I don't drink coffee so I could have never made Chief. :D

#17 finished, this is getting ridiculous. Had to rake part of the side of the house, looked like Bnut hayfield. A guy down the road walked by and said he hated doing that (raking). He said “that’s why I’ve been mowing every two or three days.”

Wildlife score…

3 rabbits
2 dragonflies
4 fireflies that landed on me
A few butterflies

Boo 07-21-2025 06:19 PM

I was sweating like cornhole when he sees a McDonalds so I took an ice cold shower. 9:00 is scorching hot on the handle , off is 3:00. I took a 2:45 shower, felt good!

Rabbit carnage

#18 done just before a 10 minute storm. I think I saw a few spots thinning out and maybe getting torched.

You are insane.

ssbledsoe 07-27-2025 06:57 PM

#16 yesterday

Got away with no midweek mow

Not sure how many more weeks I’ll get away with that

Boo 07-31-2025 06:33 AM

#19 in the bag. Yard is looking better, still thick as crap though. Guy down the road was mowing and his looked like Bnut hayfield, piles of cut grass everywhere.
