I’m also just now noticing, weren’t those diagonal slashes on the bottom reused in 96-97 and 97-98 Finest? Kewl if true.

I agree.... The Spectra Lights are kind of an out-of-sight, out-of-mind set. No MJ in the checklist and that Topps made it a one-and-done insert set probably didn't help. But that's the great thing about this thread. Hidden and long forgotten gems relegated to the bone yard have a place to be rediscovered.

Which is where I found these while trying to figure out those diagonal slashes you were asking about. They might have done something similar in Finest, but comparing a couple of parallels to the base, it looks like one of the effects they use to blur the crowd in the background.
