I know I know .. this guy ain’t worth his own thread lol .. Don’t care, bring on the hate!! Fun guy to watch on both sides of the ball and PC. I know there is a few here who collect him and definitely outside of here because I’m getting outbid now on eBay. I’m a sucker for high average guys with sneaky pop and speed. He seems to be a legit 20/20 guy and maybe even a 30/30 330 guy when he gets a little older. Please post what you got or your thoughts on him, Good, Bad or indifferent. He is on my fantasy team and have been loving him (3 SB the other night). He might need to improve his plate discipline if is going to be more of an offensive force.

I've been tracking him in my HOF thread.

I think there is a lot to like in his game. From a card value standpoint, the move from NY to Cleveland hurt him a little. He’ll just have to produce a little more to move the needle relative to other players

Topps put out a press release when 2021 Topps Series 1 was released that the "70th Anniversary Border" was mistakenly put on the Platinum 1/1's

The 70th Anniversary (#'d /70) and Platinum (1/1) both have the same border and color. The only difference is the numbering. Thanks Topps.

This is a cool one I stumbled on. I hope he is part of the team for a long time - love his attitude and approach.

And the fact that last year he was demoted for playing bad to AAA.... seemed to work out his issues last year

I am a fan of his, I think they should keep him at 2B and not try to move him over to SS. I think he can have a solid career, hopefully he continues to do well this season and into next season.

Being a Cleveland fan, I hope they sign him to a long term deal. I like him and J-Ram in the infield. Rosario is doing well now, but not a long term solution and need to find a consistent 1B too.

What is this card from?
Reminds me visually of the old Target/Walmart exclusive update retail autos..? Those were numbered to 10 for awhile at least.

I'm trying to think of a good comp for him but nobody quite comes to mind yet.

One thing that is rather funny is how long the Joey Gallo thread is thanks to people who love to complain about guys struggling to "bat" .200 and then when really good ".300" hitters emerge it's like they don't even notice :rolleyes:

Awesome cards! I just started dipping my toes back into collecting this week after several years. I've already started picking up some of his more affordable stuff, including a couple autos. He's been fun to watch for sure.

Has anyone else noticed light creasing on the back of all of his 2021 Bowman Chrome Sapphire cards? I just started examining all of mine for grading and they all have it. Parallels and regulars. Is this a known problem on 2021 Bowman Chrome Sapphire in general or just the bad luck of Andres?

His Mets uniform autos seem to go cheaper (recently) than the Indians. I am now selling off all my base of him and keeping/loading up on some more #/autos. I think he will have a solid career. Not saying HOF type but a cheaper version of J-Ram.

Picked these up for $90 a piece on myslabs. Was a third available I didn’t pull the trigger on but is since gone. Also noticed some of the other slabs gone too. Have to restrain myself as I’ve been going a bit crazy with purchases lately.

I hate the Mets and their colors .. but, it doesn’t really bother me … I know I’m biased and all.. but it’s not a bad pic and it’s his first .. if he continues on this pace it definitely won’t matter to people who would want to own his 1st bowman.

Great Defensive play and another HR. Love this guy!.

Before the surge, I was looking to buy more of his 1st/RC, but hesitated. Glad I did get a few RCs. Hopefully he is able to keep it up year to year.

yeah, I was going to add that at a certain point a players performance can supersede being on the wrong team in their first chrome

I agree. Not a fan of the auto, but hoping him being underrated and current pricing mitigates some of the uniform and auto issues. Trying to add some CLE jersey topps chrome auto stuff but seems to be getting scooped up recently.

looks a lot more like he was going for 'as condensed as possible' than it does 'toddler scribble' - because we've definitely seen those.

His more current sig looks like he just cared enough to refine it and make it look nicer.

Not a huge collector of him, but the kid has skills and I saw this on COMC yesterday for $22 so I grabbed it. I think the golds in this set look really slick!
