Glad you asked that, I assumed it was chrome. Now I'm not as interested (not that I ever was really interested, strictly for a potential flip, but I'll probably cancel my EQL entries).

That's what I keep going back-and-forth on. Some autos + sketch cards, but I know the odds of hitting them are low.

Paper product with base tiers. It's basically big league Disney.

Can hobby boxes even get to $200 per box with paper base set?

No clue, and I share such concerns (will people demand paper Topps Disney)?

I'm also concerned about the (likely) tough hit rates of autos/sketches.

I told myself I wouldn't enter EQLs unless it was a product I wanted to open or knew I could flip for something I did want to open. This doesn't meet either of this. I'm willing to bet we see a Cactus Jack situation here where there are tons of winners because they printed way too much of this stuff.

I passed as well. The month and a half loan didn't help, which is ridiculous.

Let's you and I touch base in 2 months when these boxes are $300 for god knows what reason and we hate ourselves for passing.

Cancelled my EQL entries. Probably wouldn't have hit anyway and product will likely uptrend but I just didn't feel comfortable enough about it (maybe buy 1 box at a later time).

Topps site updated after EQL and now says Oct. 15 for Hobby and Value Boxes. Megas are Nov 5.

I only put in for one box but I actually won.

No winner here. It's always a bit disheartening when you see so many winners through EQL and then don't win. No cases I see which makes sense, those go to the breakers.

Yes, that's A LOT of winners (usually it's like 20-40). With that said, Disney has a lot of demand too.

But I definitely feel better about canceling my EQL entry. Might pick up a single hobby box in the future for my kid though.

Hobby box prices are nosediving on the secondary market. Glad I cancelled my EQL as it was mainly to flip.

People are so stupid. Spend $105-$110 after shipping and taxes to sell on eBay for $175 where you have to pay for shipping again plus eBay fees to make what, about $5 in total?

I always wondered about that (including are they somehow getting it cheaper) however my theory is they jump in to everything hoping it rises in price quickly to flip, if it doesn't they just take what they can get and move on. Take their losses.

Don't forget opportunity cost.

Sinking a couple hundred/thousand into a product that moves slowly only to net a small profit (or break-even) means that you'll have a couple hundred/thousand less to put into something else that can actually make you some real gains.

It's not always easy to identify which products are great-value and/or will explode in value but that doesn't mean you should take a position in all products either.

I'm guessing a lot of them are also charging these on credit cards and need to flip them before they get hit with interest charges.

I'm new to EQL and just got the L, but it said I'd have better odds on my next Topps EQL release because of my L on this one. That's kind of dumb, so the next release isn't really "fair" if we al have different odds based on what previous releases we may or may not have entered.

Brobocop is correct. The odds thing means nothing. Its all fake. There are people that win several in a row, completely going against what EQL claims the system is.

$130 a box on eBay. Ouch for the winners hoping this would be like Topps Chrome. This just screamed stay away.

Reading this it says Sketches are in two sections, build a snowman sketch cards and princess sketch cards.

Also says one numbered card per box

Sketches fall one every 3rd hobby case. Odds are up.

Using the hobby-exclusive tapestries insert:

Approx. 39,702 total hobby boxes.
Approx. 3,308.5 total hobby cases. (Less cases than '25 hobby chrome ~5,000)

Base Autos approx. 1 every 3.5 cases.
Base sketch approx. 1 every 2.2 cases.

Also, using the tapestries odds means there are a total of 794,040 packs / 44,372 Princessfractor -> approx. 17.89 Princessfractors in Hobby out of 20.
Idk if these are exact since they are making Megas, blasters, and Fat Packs.
There's probably a single Princessfractor in each one one of those formats.
