ESPN or Fox Sports 1? Let the Debate Begin!
 

If you havent already heard the new Fox Sports 1 Network launches tomorrow. I have heard many people say that they are excited for the network since they are tired of ESPN. I would love to see another network try and challenge the "worldwide leader in sports." let me know your thoughts below!

Both Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson who used to work for ESPN will be on the Fox Sports 1 Network :)!

Love me some sweet female reporters.

I don't really care, but Erin Andrews is the only female reporter I find tolerable, so I guess I'll go with fox sports 1

I dunno. All Espn talks about is Manziel & the Yankees so I will try the other network

Fox Sports 1, just because our Michigan boy Ryan Field will be an anchor.

Assuming Fox Sports 1 talks about more than Tebow, A-Rod, and Manziel, I think they'll have an easy advantage.

Neither, I have no desire to watch news on the cowboys, jets, tim tebow or any baseball team...ever

They better be sending reporters around the US to report another "only in our area" new team or I kill their first borns

when it comes to ratings, ESPN has Monday Night Football and that's all that matters. if FS1 is doing NFL games, and somehow gets playoffs of other major sports like MLB and NBA, then they may catch up. but so far i think their big thing is UFC content, which as an MMA fan i enjoy, but won't get near the audience that ESPN gets on a constant basis.

I used to love ESPN, however, the past few years they havent gotten worse and worse. I know they want to discuss the hot topic but dedicating the whole show to 2 or 3 items is ridiculous. I also hated when ESPN did away with the real first take, not the embrace debate crap it is now. First Take was always the alternative to SportsCenter and they would always have on athletes interviewing them instead of just going back and forth.

Charissa was the only reason I watched that show :)!

They sadly have hockey, so nobody watches in the U.S because ESPN doesn't talk about it.

Hmmm... Food Network, DIY, Travel Channel, the Cooking Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, and the NFL Network were the only channels I ever watched. Oh and the occasional AMC.
Probably why I cancelled my DirecTV and cable...

Plus its now the carrier of all ufc +1

I am not really stuck on just one network I probably check em both out from time to time.

Not true.... I watch over 60% of the Capitals Season every year. Usually more but I usually have to watch on my computer as the Wisconsin Washington difference.

ESPN has been god awful for a while. Can't stand the garbage music they play during highlights and their large market biased reporting is atrocious.

i wouldnt use that site unless you want to completely screw up your computer with popups, downloading files to your computer without you telling it to, and "malicious content."

Use the ESPN Gamecast or get to watch a nfl game while having your computer screwed up. ill take the gamecast.

I just watched the first Fox Sports Live. I thought it was pretty horrible. Why was I listening to Andy Roddick and Gary Payton talking about football?
The announcers seemed nervous and really wanted to be like ESPN. They tried to be really quirky and it largely fell flat. I don't know if it is just them not having experience with live TV, or if it's just them being terrible.
Won't make a full judgement until I see a few weeks/months, but right now, it was pretty terrible.
Eye candy wasn't bad though, could be a good show to just watch muted.

The fact that you don't know the background of the hosts Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole speaks volumes to how laughable the highlighted comment is.

Fox Sports Uno needs more people like Chris Berman.
He comes up with all these cool phrases and nickname right off the top of his dome ON THE AIR. Amazing absolutely amazing.

I'm glad they are doing this. Hopefully they will have an equivalent to Sportscenter, because it just wouldn't be complete without it.

I'm also looking forward to a channel that doesnt revolve around football season and the Heat. I love football, but please give the MLB their time to shine

At least the free market is working---ESPN has become all sound bytes & loud mouths and now someone is trying to take market share away from them.

Best thing about ESPN right now is SVP & Russillo. SVP brings it on more than just the Heat, Yankees, and Tebow.
