Best Seinfeld episode...
 

So the thread for PBM user names had me thinking about random funny Seinfeld episodes. Not sure if this thread has been made already but if not I thought it would be fun to comment a favorite episode, story-line or scene that we really enjoyed from the show.

Usually I like the story-lines that are based on the George character. Everything about that guy was hilarious from his persona to all his relationships with other characters and all the situations he gets into.

I probably couldn't pick a favorite episode but one of the more underrated ones that I liked was the one with George wanting an apology from the guy in AA for a past insult he made, and then he somehow winds up at an anger management meeting flipping out about how he doesn't have an anger problem. Just the thought of it makes me laugh but never seem to see that one on TV.

So anyway just figured I'd post this to see everyone's comments on the show and it should be fun to see what episodes or moments resonate with various members of the forum... :D

Hands down the best show ever made. My favorite scene is either the Kramer "assman" vanity plate or when Kramer takes over driving the bus "you kept making all the stops?"...."they kept ringing the bell"

Yeah, I have like 10 favorites but if prompted to pick JUST ONE I'd have to say the Marine Biologist. It has 4 distinct stories and all are hilarious.

I've never watched a single episode of Seinfeld.

Lol, classic. "I'm out" has to be one of the best 2 seconds and one liners in TV history. :)!

There is no possible way to pick a favorite. Right away, I thought of the one where Kramer tries to stop the mail. ... the scene when Newman is driving the truck filled with fish and it bursts into flames when he hits the sewing machine...

the black & white cookie
kramer finding costco and feeding the horse the beans and the look on georges in laws when the horse pass's gas...classic

Yeah it is kinda crazy when you think about just how many of the episodes were memorable, most of them really.

Some of them have become engrained in our subconscious in a way.....An example is how many people still use the term bizarro in describing a doppelganger or inverse situation if you will.

I had always considered that episode my favorite Seinfeld episode ever, and one of, if not my favorite TV episode ever.

Then a couple years back I saw TV guide put out a list of the 100 greatest TV episodes of all time and that episode came in at #1

Don't know the name of the episode, but I love it when Kramer finds the old game show set

Man, there are so many great episodes. I absolutely hate Seinfeld the stand up comic, but love the show.

It's been awhile since I've watched it, but you guys are drumming up a lot of good memories. One of the ones I remember is when George is sleeping under his desk at work

Way too many to pick from. I think my favorite scenes are:

Kramer driving the bus with the mugger.
The library cop showing up at Jerry's apt.
George getting dramatic and asking Jerry to kill him in the hospital, and Jerry starts smothering him with a pillow.

Soup Nazi...just saw the Calzone episode the other day and brought me back. Hard to really pick a favorite.

The Library Cop..."Bookman" I think he was...

Also---The "Bro" versus the "Manzier" episode...

I have to agree and I think the best part of the whole episode was the very end when George is telling the story and pulls out the ball

Bubble Boy-
The episode where George convinces the Yankees to switch from polyester jerseys to cotton
The anti-dentite episode

The one with the fried chicken neon sign or the movie phone one

Oh man I forgot about that J Peterman guy....so many memorable scenes with him, like when he was telling the story of being a prisoner in some small island nation or whatever. Dude was crazy and a half.

Morty Seinfeld invented the Beltless raincoat....also known as "The Executive"

The parking garage is one of my fav. Finally find the car and it won't start, lol. That wasn't supposed to be the ending but the car really wouldn't start, lucky because that makes the episode so much better.

My favorite episode would probably be the Gum one, where in George's side story he tries to prove to his childhood friend/gf that he isn't insane. He gets himself into a series of unfortunate events by coincidence, which are just hilarious. When he chases after her in the King Henry costume saying "I got it from the Institute, the Institute!" I always die laughing.

The Chicken Roaster is a great episode, but I just watched The Little Jerry...had me in tears I was laughing so hard. Great episode.

The jimmy is also fantastic. I used to talk about myself in the third person a lot. It was partially that episode that made me stop.

the best one is the statue where George's statue is stolen and Kramer pretends to be a cop at the end, I laugh the whole episode

One of my favorite moments is when George Steinbrenner thinks Costanza is dead and tells his parents...but Frank just wants to chew him out about the Buhner trade.

No, and it's never too late. I only started watching in about the last year or so of the run. I realized that I'd been missing greatness and went on a huge binge. It is still every bit as funny as it was then so give a few a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
