That line was just to get interest drawn it's a figure of speech.. I can't put a price on something that has no comps at all.. therefore I try to be fair with the price and that's the reason I put best offer I I'm not trying to start a problem or a debate about something we all did as a hobby as kids

Obviously most people here want everything for nothing. Most of them run and operate their own "self proclaimed sports card business". It's just become second nature for higher selling prices 95% of the time here and 97.5% of the time low ball offers or no offer at all. If most don't see a minimum of 25% EASY return they don't bother.

Unfortunately that is what this "hobby" has become. Gotta deal with it. Why do you think Topps overproduces?!? It's because the "business" side of the hobby has made it so they can..

I came back into the hobby like 2 years ago (I'm 30). I already want out due to most people treating this as a business which is laughable.

Hey man this is a nice lot and if you wish to keep it at that price that's you choice, what they're roughly saying is it's going to be hard to sell at that price. There is definitely nice stuff here the price is just out of touch. But like I said your choice, GLWS.

I am not a flea market. It I had this lot the only card I would probably try to sell is the Kimbrell.

I would want the $50-$55 I think it's worth so I would throw in the 1st scan of cards along with it and try to get $50 for it.

Go sell it on Ebay if you want a larger audience. If you sold them all individually on Ebay and offered free shipping you MIGHT put $55 in your pocket when all is said and done

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a Jameson Taillon/Severino/Gonzalez/Micah Johnson/Chris Flexen/Matt Moore/Michael Taylor/Rosell Herrera/Jorge Soler/Allen Craig/Shelby Miller/Craig Kimbrel collector here.

However, there are people who will buy large lots at a discounted price so the seller can move everything he has quickly and the buyer can put in the extra time selling them individually and make a profit to make it worthwhile. In this case, that just is not feasible at all. Especially now that the "$150" card with no comps is damaged and sold for $30.

I remember when I joined how unhelpful and rude a lot of the people were when asking simple questions! The business side of things really makes everyone so egotistical and on edge all the time! I remember this hobby used to be fun and you could share good memories with other people and it has completely gotten away from that.

Bottom line is that he has received a ton of hits on this lot and no one has an interest in it for more than 25-30% of the stated asking price.

I have a few lots up I'd love to get this many hits on and get some offers in on... If people were repeatedly telling me they were worth 25-30%, I'd take the $ and run.

Why do you keep mentioning "business side" of the hobby and how bad it is? Because nobody wants to pay him triple what his cards are worth? OP clearly had the "resale lot" mentality with this thread, so people should come in here expecting a lot that they could make a profit on by spending some extra time selling the cards individually. I understand that a lot here needs to have a minimum of 25% ROI for it to even be considered!

Lol practically every single one of your posts in every thread is about how this "hobby" is a business to some now and that really grinds your gears and your so ready to leave

It looks like you have quite a bit listed on eBay, which means you are selling for money/profit, which means you in turn are using this as a business in lay mans terms.

Why not just leave instead of trying to get attention by saying "I want to leave so bad, everything is miserable, people just want to make money"

(Pretty prevalent you just want to complain after seeing some of your comments in the grading thread.)
