black friday break - seeing double!

Picked up a box of 2011 BDPP during the pre-Black Friday sale. Saw something weird... two refractor autos of the same player in one box! Score?

bonus points to anyone who can name the make & model of the BMX bike on the cover of my freestyle book!

With the Vans.. I'd guess GT or Diamondback.

Someone is taking a Human Anatomy class.

My case of 2011 BDPP had a refractor and blue refractor Bundy autos in the same box.

I am going to guess Haro. Tuff wheels were standard issue back in those days.

Edit: Dyno?

Free agent?

Win4Vin 12-04-2012 03:48 PM

Good guesses. Free Agent was as close as anyone's going to get since it's really quite tough. The bike is actually an uber-rare VDC (Voris Dixon Company) race bike. Voris actually made a lot of the Free Agent frames in his shop back in the 80's (he was a fabricator that the big name bike companies like GT, Tuf Neck, Vector, and Free Agent used).

VDC's are some of the most rare and sought-after BMX bikes in the 80's BMX collecting scene. The only giveaways (and very hard to see from my photo) would have been the double pierced head-tube or the front fork dropoputs. VDC's are known for this trick look...

Anyway, PM sent on the Trouts and Guerrieri's!
