Now that all of December, January, and February have past maybe that's enough time for a stab at Top 10 list mainly based on sale and buy prices. Obviously no list is perfect so some deserving artists didn't get mentioned in this small sample. Please feel free to contribute in acknowledging other notable cards that had incredible past sales.

Here's the listing from the from the first post prior to the edit to the scarce artists observations.

1) Perna -
Once again Tony Perna tapped into what makes some deep-pocketed collectors tick by creating cardboard magic with some well thought out subsets. A couple of cards received Best Offers of $500 on the 'bay in December.

The Glebe case incentives received a great deal of early hobby love with over 10 cards receiving Best Offers over $300 in the month of December of 2012.

4) O'Connell -
New to Marvel sketch cards, Veronica has a sultry style that some collectors were familiar with from other sketch card genres. In early January 2013, there were Best Offers for a Dark Phoenix and a Psylocke in the $315 - $350 range, a Spider-Woman in the $250 range, and a Dazzler and a Mantis in the $180 range.

5) Hetrick -
Meghan's attention to detail has collectors anxiously looking for her cards. Her team-up jams with fellow artists are popular also. Some Best Offers were a Hulk & Wolverine and a Polaris in the $300 - $330 range in early December. While a Colossus and a Rachel had Best Offers in the $195 - $225 range in mid-December. Her work is so coveted that even a Banshee received a Best Offer in the $160 range in mid-December.

6) Acar -
With collectors willing to spend triple digits on the majority of her cards, she still processes that "Melike Magic" even while producing more offerings for this release. A Hulk and a Spider-Man both received $250 range Best Offers in December and January.

7) Hall -
Charles still has a strong following for his cards that are fully painted. His newer style that incorporates part sketch and/or partial painting has different level of popularities. Best Offer range of $300 - $325 for a Spider-Man and a Dark Phoenix in January.
In December, there were Best Offer ranges between $200 - $230 for a cover recreation of Hulk and Origin of the Defenders, a Ghost Rider, and a Spider-Man and between $175 - $185 for a Wolverine & Hulk and an Iron Man.

8) Larcada -

Katie's cartoonish style continues to resonates with collectors. In December, Best Offer ranges were $210 for a Spider-Man, $165 for a Ms. Marvel, and $150 for a Galactus and a She-Hulk and for a Spider-Woman in January

10) Martineck (color pack inserted) -
Warren has different style cards in Bronze Age - case incentives are bronze colored, bronze puzzles are in "Hot Boxes" and colored cards are inserted into packs. The color pack inserted cards seem to be the most popular. Early December saw Best Offer ranges between $225 -$260 for a Spider-Man and a Green Goblin. $165 range Best Offer for a Spider-Man and a $120 range Best Offer for a Daredevil & Elektra in late December.
