I think these look great. Anyone else planning on getting a case?

jt_1985_2004 03-12-2013 09:24 PM

That orioles triple is pretty sweet, and I'm not even an Oriole fan! lol

brave#1fan 03-13-2013 01:43 PM

Am I the only one who can't see the pictures? It just shows a red X.

rcgdodge 04-13-2013 09:32 PM

I like these a lot!!

Cactuspies 05-04-2013 06:32 PM

just saw this sell sheet last night in the pre-sell area. gotta say they look pretty sweet. base cards look a little blah, but the 1993 look is perfect.

premium1981 05-05-2013 08:14 AM

Yep, I think this will be a VERY hot release. Hope they do it right.

ufcwecfan 08-21-2013 08:36 PM

These are the worst looking finest cards in years! Not sure why everyone likes them?

Turd Ferguson 08-22-2013 10:19 AM

I'm in agreement with the previous - I like the reissues just fine, but I think the base cards have a terrible design.

Do you see that Mike Trout Finest Refractor up there /25 ... That's why.

100 Base cards, each with a refractor /25 parallel. That set might be the second most valuable set in the modern era. Throw in those "Masters" parallels ... The design of the base cards may not be uber sweet, but those Refractors are going to sell for an insane amount of money. Like four figures insane.

tsalems1 09-27-2013 07:15 PM

Good chance we see more live autos in Finest than the Topps chrome including Puig!
Live Puig auto's starting to show, maybe this is why it got pushed back again?

I agree with these statements....I havent been this excited about a product release in a while. This could very well turn into the Baseball version of Fleer Retro Basketball. I have made this my first multi-case break just for the throwback 93 refractors.....I also think the base design will look better in person.

premium1981 09-30-2013 07:46 AM

I am still looking forward to this as well. I don't think it will go as crazy as Retro Basketball did, but I do think it will be red hot. Anyone on the fence that decides not to purchase will be regretting their decision IMO.

yeah I dont think it will be AS crazy, but I do think collectors are going to go nuts over current stars in retro 93 refractor design. Finest is not nearly as high end as Retro Basketball, but I can definitely see the price of boxes/cases jumping once those cards hit the market. The box prices are at about $94 right now, I can see it going up to $125 by the end of the year......even if you just hold on to cases and flip them you should make money, people who have gotten in right now have the right idea.

slugger82685 09-30-2013 03:04 PM

I really hope a checklist is released soon!!
