Anyone getting fees when trying to post Sports Cards??

Thought everything was free for the rest of the year?? Still getting a .10 insertion fee when trying to post some new cards. Anyone know whats up??

Give more details.

Free fee listings are only for 3-5-7 day auctions, and non-scheduled auctions. What kind of listing are you doing?

msumarr54 10-15-2012 09:58 PM

Just relisting from my template. Even when I'm starting from scratch, however, I'm getting a .10 insertion fee. Trying to do 7 day auctions, non scheduled. Like them ending around halftime of Monday Night Football. I dunno whats going on, but any help is appreciated.......

That's a know issue. Listing with "sell similar" will show a charge until the very last summary page, at which point it should show $0.00 listing charge.

Nope, still getting .10. Even when I start COMPLETELY from scratch, I get a .10 charge. This is weird.

alexlazarevich 10-15-2012 10:08 PM

Did you actually complete a new listing? Maybe the charge isn't removed until the listing is completed? Just a guess. Sorry I can't help more.

In Turbolister, I get the fee up until the cards are actually uploaded. Once it completes loading, I get the popup that shows the fees incurred and below it the actual fees once the discount is applied. In this case being $0.00.

it could be your seller status. if you arent in their guidelines the offer doesnt apply

I've had then when I relisted some items. And then the charges would be crossed out upon completion. However, I just noticed I was charge 1.60 for relisting 16 items last night.

I was getting free listings until last night. Nothing has changed since then. Still a power seller with good DSLRs and no negs

did you try selecting "scheduled" listing? i got 10c fee for that one.

Did the amount you owe eBay in your seller account actually increase by $1.60 when you posted the cards? In the past, when there are listing sales, there have been times when it says you will pay $x while you're posting, but when you check your seller account, the amount is actually unchanged.

FYI....I called eBay and figured it out and kinda feel dumb. You only get 500 free listings for month. Looks like I got a little out of control in October. I guess thats what you get when your trying to list every card you own. Just letting you guys know, 500!!!!!! Thats it!
