In the months since entering the college trading card arena, Panini America has offered brief glimpses of its basketball vision by incorporating college variations of NBA players in both 2014-15 National Treasures Basketball and 2014-15 Flawless Basketball. But later this month, Panini America will unveil its first standalone college-only hoops product with 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball.

Following in the footsteps of Panini America’s successful 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Football, the basketball version honors the biggest stars of the 2015 NBA Draft — as well as the NBA’s biggest current stars in their college uniforms — with a 200-card base set that includes 100 Season Tickets (current NBA stars in their college uniforms), 100 College Tickets (featuring top 2015 draft picks in their college uniforms) and a heavy focus on autographs.


Each hobby box of 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball (eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box) will deliver five autographs, three Class Reunion, three College Connections, two Passports, six Game Day Tickets, 24 School Colors and 24 Old School Colors. 2015 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball delivers a roster of recently drafted college players in their college jerseys, including players like Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell, Jahlil Okafor, Willie Cauley-Stein, Justise Winslow and more.

Sometimes blowout doesn't post them till the next day. Just letting people know the info is there.

I died not having a clue who Britney Boyd is and what NBA team.she will.play for. Like Topps putting out those stupid Carmen Electra, jenny McCarthy and Christie Brinkley cards in Finest or chrome.

I almost just Panini'd in my pants. I thought that was an auto of that little girl from the LLWS that the media shoved down everyones throat. So glad I was mistaken.

Agreed. Totally agreed.

Cards In college uniforms. This is a new concept....

This and maybe one more should be the only product with college cards in them!

They've already killed this product by adding college stuff in this years high end releases.

Hey, that Brinkley auto is one of the more valuable cards I've pulled, sadly.

those celeb cards from finest were a good thing because they sold for a good amount of money. the examples from this product look boring and not all that interesting to me, but as long as they have the college liscense, its probably a good thing to make a lower-ish end early season product featuring that. im sure the people that are big into college as well as the nba will like this product.

Is upper deck still making basketball cards this upcoming season?

I will admit the same. I have no idea who Ms Boyd is. All the card companies were guilty of using photoshopped images when promoting new items, but these are really bad. I will guess that MS Boyd's actual auto won't look anything like the shopped one on this make up card.

And it looks like Jerry Stackhouse signed Karl Anthony Towns. I'm not sure how in the hell this kid got that scribble " J Stack" from "Karl Anthony Towns"

Design is kinda meh but I'm in favor of any product with Kansas basketball autos. Might have to join a case break for this.

I don't mind college when it's a Draft style set early in the season - especially if it means less college inserts in later products.

I'll take a Towns, Cauley-Stein, Trey Lyles, Devin Booker, Andrew Harrison, Dakari Johnson, and hopefully an Aaron Harrison. But not sure I'd buy a box of this but def will grab the singles as usual.

Still happier with a reasonably priced Press Pass set. Even when you got a redemption you knew it would be fulfilled and quickly.
