Which play is more disrespectful? AI or Harden?

Harden just did this to Wes Johnson:

And I'm sure we all know about AI on Ty Lue.

But the question is which one is more disrespectful?

AI stepping over Lue or Harden waiting for Wes to get up then smacks the 3?

I have my opinions, but I'm curious to hear others.

ninjacookies 02-28-2018 11:55 PM

Eh. I didn't see anything particularly disrespectful with Harden's play.

Sure he paused and waited, but it's not like he stared him down afterwards or tried to instigate confrontation. Wesley even laughed it off as he was running back to halfcourt.

AI was a completely different scenario.

This is nothing. Disrespect happens most often at the rim IMO.

pennywise 03-01-2018 01:21 AM

I vote for this.

Hardens move? Lols! There is a much better similar move like that, and that was dwayne wade’s one... lol!

Disrespecting your opponent was part of the 90’s era.. it was pretty awesome disrespectful stuff to look at.. [emoji23][emoji23]

Easily Iverson

This should also get an honorable mention:

"Filthy crossover" (Exaggerated push-off which is no longer called as an offensive foul)

I actually agree that Hardens play happens several times a year now. No big deal

CCSportsCards 03-01-2018 01:54 AM

Pretty nice push with that crossover

Hands down the most disrespectful play in NBA history.

Oh come on, he didn’t even extend the arm. Plus, he stared him down for a bit and then drained the 3. Don’t downplay it like that haha

Brewers3 03-01-2018 08:16 AM

Cmon guys I never said in history. Just comparing the two. I left out dunks for a reason. Everyone knows Shaq on Dudley is the most disrespectful ever.

smalltown 03-01-2018 08:21 AM

Honestly. It looked like Harden was confused. Like he thought a whistle or something was coming.

Master Shake 03-01-2018 08:42 AM

I vote for every play that Draymond Green is in the game for. At some point someone is bound to get hit in the you know what.

RetailChamp 03-01-2018 09:00 AM

To pause like he did and then swish the three took it to another level.

Guys get their ankles snatched all the time, but if the shot doesn't fall (e.g. Kemba airball the other night), it's definitely not as cool.

That being said, Iverson in a playoff game doing what he did .... hard to beat it.

I remember watching this game on a Sunday afternoon on NBC. Dudley got thrown out after this happened. He got up and threw the ball at Shaq.

Nyfancam01 03-01-2018 09:10 AM

The brand new harden move! WOW!!! "THE PUSHOVER!!!!"

... Easily Allen Iverson here. Not close.

I felt the same way as you on this play.

This is my #1 most disrespectful..............

Jin 03-01-2018 10:18 AM

I was about to be all up in arms over this poll seeing that you were challenging the nostalgia of The Answer but then I saw the Harden clip and I got to say...

Harden's wins this one. He literally stopped in the middle of play, looked directly at Wes, and drained it after allowing him to get up, then yelled at him running back the other way lol.

These 2 for most disrespectful of all time !

Back to the question on thread , AI over lil ole lue was waaay worse ,

ljandkg 03-01-2018 12:26 PM

Tell what is disrespectful is with all that space and room, Harden still didn't get called for a travel.

Laurent 03-01-2018 12:43 PM

AI for real :)!...but Harden? No! Just my opinion...its seems that he was waiting for whats happend with Wes. Probably he thought that a referee would stop the game for a moment caus he is fallen on the floor...

Yea, as far as plays I've seen myself, I'm going with either the Shaq or Pippen dunk. I love how they're both on my Knicks lol.

Same. I remember rooting for Dudz just because #homer, but man, dude was so so awkward. At times he made easy layins/putbacks seem like mission impossible.

This should be #1. Swung his sack on him and then shoved him down.

dasiegel 03-01-2018 03:46 PM

All the big ones are in this thread, but I was listening to NBA radio today and learned about this one. What is really funny is the fact he stops to talk ish before the shot, lol.
