I asked Topps about the possibility of getting a new Mars Attcks binder for the original/heritage set that is in the colorful design of Invasion/Occupation. Their response:

"We have some news for Mars Attacks 2017 coming soon. We'll look into some binders as well."

How about Mars Attacks: MIB 23. A three-way crossover where the Martians finally cleanse our world of the tired Jonah Hill cliche character that he plays over and over.

Although... they did cancel the Star Wars Wacky Packs product...

I'd be down for furthering the story with a new chapter OR a super premium sketch type release a la Marvel Premier

In all seriousness, I'd love a high end release. I'd be all over Mars Attacks: Masterwork

It would require a much cooler name though. Stormbraining...

The final MA: Occupation story card is entitled 'Uprising Begins', so if they follow the same pattern from MA: Invasion, the next installment will be MA: Uprising...

This is the first I've heard of a 2017 release (not that I'm connected within Topps or anything). Hope I'm asked to join again!!! It truly is my favorite franchise to draw for.

You can count on a purchase from this guy if it happens...

This is from Topps' Star Wars Facebook page. An all-new story....I thought that's what Invasion and Occupation were. If this new set is just the best (or all) of those cards that's ok by me.

I guess this would be before Invasion? I'll admit, I didn't read the story on the cards so I can't say for sure.

Thanks Chris! It's based on a sketch card I drew for the Mars 50th set and I FINALLY got around to painting it on a IDW comic cover. It's currently listed on the bay (ends Sunday evening)!
