I strangely don't like this deal for either team.

Robin Lopez is a plus-defender, and has the most value to a contending team, which the Bulls now are definitely not. So, you have a trade asset (maybe) plus Jerian Grant who is an okay prospect. Could have done better. The Knicks on the other hand are now contending for a playoff spot, meaning that they really need Robin Lopez.

They already traded a bunch of picks for Dragic. They have almost nothing of value to trade.

Looks like Noah and Gasl definitely both won't be plaing for the Bulls next year then. Both Very interesting pieces, especially Gasol who is still all star caliber.
