e-bay "watchers"

Do you ever get the feeling that when you have a unique or rare card up for auction that a lot of people just put it on watch to see what the card goes for?

We have the 2 superfractors from 07 Topps Chrome FB that will go off tomorrow night. Not 2 much activity as far as bids but the Wolfe has 22 watchers and the Kolb has 34.

Yup. I think it would show insight for similar cards that they have in their own collections......as far as value

Also, wait for the last hour of the auction. All the action is usaually there.

Potential Sellers are also waiting to scoup up the cards if the price is right to sell at shows or elsewhere. They may even have similar cards that they need to know if there is a market for them at times. :D

I personally watch auctions all the time. I'd say I only buy less than 1 percent of the auctions I watch.

Yeah I watch them also, For buying at the last minute, I think most people that bid early just get into bidding wars.
