jewcer2k5 10-02-2016 06:21 PM

Sold my Tix. Can't wait to enjoy it at home.

metsandweezer 10-02-2016 06:22 PM

Bumgarner's last eight postseason starts: 5-1 with a 0.91 ERA. Lifetime at Citi Field he is 4-0 with a 0.62 ERA.

Ottomatic 10-02-2016 06:24 PM

Most excited I have been for a playoff game in a long time. Big Syndergaard fan.

ToppsCollector1 10-02-2016 06:24 PM

Ill be rooting for the Giants in this one

USAFDODGERS 10-02-2016 06:25 PM

Mets please end this damn even year crap for all that is holy

mfw13 10-02-2016 06:25 PM

Giants gotta be favorites in this one....finished the season hot (38-11 run differential their last six games), their bullpen is rested, and MadBum is starting. Plus its an even numbered year :D

Skipscards 10-02-2016 06:31 PM

Let's go Mets!

texmcpherson 10-02-2016 06:59 PM

Holy pitching match up. I have to work that night though. :(

MBumgarner40 10-02-2016 07:09 PM

Should be one hell of a game. Glad it's at Citi where MadBum seems to take it up a notch

jeterfan95 10-02-2016 08:08 PM

I think this will be the most exciting game of the year. Definitely looking like a nail biter.

NeedChapmans 10-02-2016 08:13 PM

As awesome as Bumgarner is in the post-season (2014 especially), it's baseball. This is not facing Tom Brady in NE with Randy Moss or LeBron James in Cleveland w/ a bunch of all-stars ... one bad inning and the game is easily over. It's the performance of one lone person and Bumgarner is due for that to happen eventually, why not Wednesday?

That said, worst possible match-up for the Mets of any active pitcher in baseball. Crucial they score 1st, because if the Giants are the first to put a run on the board, the doubt starts to set in. Noah has to be sharp early to give his team a chance to tag Madison for a couple; giving Bumgarner the lead is suicide.

Ryan T. 10-02-2016 08:15 PM

I'll be there; can't wait!

Big 10-02-2016 08:26 PM

Awesome! Thanks couldn't find it anywhere online.

Bold prediction: Giants beat Mets and go on to upset the Cubs with MadBum putting them on his back until running into Kershaw and Hill of the Dodgers. Sox Dodgers WS

This is the greatest post of all time.

Go Mets!

Firerunner4 10-02-2016 11:04 PM

I'm really hoping Madison goes on another historic post season run! Go Giants!

centereacan06 10-02-2016 11:08 PM

I hope the Mets can score more runs than the Giants.

Wrigs37 10-03-2016 12:12 AM

This Cub fan will be rooting for the Mets... I want nothing to do with seeing Mad Bum 2-3 times in a series...

Dodgers could have done it themselves if they just won one of their games against the Giants

Agree up till the NLCS result. I see LA defeating an injury plagued WAS, but the Giants pitching is in better health and has a superior postseason resume than the Dodgers. I do like the Sox to come out of the AL

Lol. So true. At least the Dodgers finally found a way to knock the Cardinals out of the playoffs LOL
