Kris Bryant rookie advice
If one such as myself were to want a Kris Bryant rookie WITHOUT an auto, what would be my best option? Big fan of heritage so what variation if that's the recommendation?
I think I may have found a use for those stupid non auto descriptions on eBay Thanks for the help |
Heritage action or color swap or a refractor or black refractor. The best is an Archives SP.

this. |
Thanks. How short printed were the archives sp's? It seems expensive in 9.5.

Not sure but Archives is the way to go |
I found on baseballcardpedia it said about 500 copies at 1:70 hobby packs. Retail at 1:47 packs. That seems backwards.
|
i THINK the SPs were about one SP per case with 20 SPs in the set?
Something insane like that, hence the high $ |

500 seem like a lot for them to be SP'd. |
If you want "the one" non auto key rookie card, I would suggest to get the Archives card. It's a very limited card and looks good to top it off.
I have the auto version of the card and love it! It's one of my favorite cards in my PC. |

Lots of set collectors that needed them too. |

Let's just say that Beckett graded only 49 of them so far.. |
500 of this card would not be a lot imo
|
Thanks for the help

Never pulled a Bryant, but based upon the twenty or so SPs that I did sell all went to set collectors. They would have needed the Bryant too. |
The Finest RC is also a SSPed card for what seems to be a little less than the Archives card, but with that said I think the Archives card is a better looking card.
As far as inserts the Heritage Mini is limited to 100 copies and are serial numbered on the back. I like the Minis. |

Oh, absolutely! |
This one. But I am a Chrome boy, so I pick Topps Chrome for everything

I like this chrome RC too, especially refractor version.

I accidentally won a refractor BGS 9.5 a couple months ago. I put a bid in thinking I would probably be outbid only to win it for much less than expected.

There's a 2015 Bryant Archives RC card on the bay via auction ( not my card ). Interesting to see how much it will get. The last two got 350. I think the combination of it being an auction and the timing might make it sell for less than 350
|
I'm a big fan of the Finest SP card. I really like the photo used and the design was pretty slick.

I've noticed some of the Archives auto cards are selling slightly more than the non-auto cards. For those who are interested in the non-auto, wouldn't you rather have the auto RC for $100-$150 more? I bought my BGS 9 auto for $500 (best offer). Don't non-auto's sell between $300-$400? |

Oh wow. Okay. I guess I did get a good deal. Yeah, KB cards are going up like crazy. I'm currently watching one 9.5 ALFAC auction to see where it sells. |
I get the whole "chrome is king" argument but I am wondering which card is most valuable: the 2013 KB Bowman Chrome Draft auto (the one inserted in 2014 products) or the 2015 KB Archives auto? Would it be the 2015 Archives because they are printed less or would it be the 2013 Bowman Chrome because, well, chrome is king?
