eBay - est. delivery time?
 

Is there any (potential) penalty for sending out a package on time, but it arrives to the buyer after the est. delivery time?

Not really that I know of. I'm pretty sure upload time and acceptance are all that's checked.

no clue but I got nailed for late shipments on 2 items recently because the PO I used didn't scan one at all (finally scanned for the first time once it was out for delivery in florida) and the other sat for 2 days before they scanned it and moved it to phoenix.

that po made my list of places I won't drop off anything to.

Ask for a receipt at the counter when you drop them off. That requires them to scan it as accepted. Shouldn't have to do that I know, but if you're having problems then it's a solution.
