It's the Water Slide set! Also... team logo is WAY too close to the edge. I can see a lot of complaints happening on miscut cards. Otherwise, it looks good. Should work with digital well.

Not bad but...I'm not that impressed. And again, the lack of a border makes one wonder how the parallels will work.

Design is OK. Not the best, not the worst. Could do without the wave, but otherwise it's fine

The wave thing or whatever it is looks lame. There's no reason for it. I do like the digital pixel block effect though.

Good point about the logo. I'm cool with full bleed photography, so overall I like it. I'm sure the wave will grow on me. Another year without borders though means there will be a lot of complaining. I wish borders would come back for a year to help appease those collectors.

I hope they get a shot of Clint wearing 77 for next year's set.

Better than 2017. If they make sure not to hide any of the players' names under the wave, it could actually be cool. There's no reason part of the C there should be covered up

Most of the good things about it are only good in comparison to the 2017 design: the tilt is gone, the photo area is bigger, there's no "fog" along the bottom.

The wave thing is pretty cheesy on its face and it's not good that having it overlap parts of the team logo and player name add even more attention to it. The pixel bars aren't as bad but could probably be dialed back a bit.

As far as borderless stuff goes, it's nice. I like it.

That said, I'd love to see how the parallels are pulled off. Could be a disaster.

Is this confirmed?
Because when I looked at the design, I thought about the same thing.
Where will they put the colors on, and seems like wave is the only option.

I like the simple design overall, but feel like the wave which is probably the biggest characteristic of this card was unnecessary.
That wave shouldn't interfere with player's name.

It's wasn't as bad with Chrome as it was with S1/S2 - the color pops a bit more.

I think the 2016 color parallels are much worse than 2017. With both kind of being semi-terrible to outright terrible.

I actually didn't mind the 2016 parallels, I thought those worked alright, but the 2017 triangles make me gag. Will be interesting to see how they (try to?) pull it off this year
