Damnit! I wish I still had my Brady RC's. Who knew? :)
|
For $400 for the box, what are the odds of pulling a Brady? Any math guys want to take a shot?

Sounds like your odds are at best 1:6 (and probably worse than that). |

Only 5 boxes available on BO. Who wants to roll the dice? |
or you could buy these instead ;)

The odds would be 1:7.5 boxes. 4 non jersey RCs per box, 30 non jersey RCs in the set. This was actually the first case of product I ever bought. I VIVIDLY remember opening it and pulling 3 Brady’s. Still have one of them :)

I've done a little research on chances of pulling Brady rookies in the 2000 football boxes, and yes, the black diamond is one of the products with a good chance.
Others: fleer metal fleer ultra quantum leaf UD victory crown royale plus, the low end products: impact, momentum, etc.... My sleeper: Press Pass I've busted multiple boxes of this and pulled 3-4 Brady base per box with usually one gold. Plus Brady auto's are relatively easy to pull. (auto checklist was 50 players with SP's which Brady was not) and you get 3 auto's per box. |
Pretty sure the only way I will ever pull a Brady rc from a box is if I put it in the box first.
(Remember when these boxes were unwanted and discounted?) |

Bowman Too!!
I know this thread is super old, but I wanted to chime in. You should get a Brady RC in every Bowman box (regular Bowman for sure. I'm not sure about Chrome). There are 240 cards in the regular Bowman set. A hobby box contains 24 packs, at 10 cards per pack, equalling 240 cards, thus, you should land one Brady RC per box. The jumbo boxes contain 12 packs at 21 cards per pack, which comes to 252 total cards per box, so yet again, you should pull at least one Bracy RC, with an outside shot of pulling two, per jumbo box.

Yes sir, you are correct about the ratio of roughly one Brady per box. The problem is, these cards are VERY tough to gem as the card stock is very thin. I have a jumbo box and I'm temped to sell it sealed and pick up a Brady that's already graded. In regards to chrome, I remember some one else posting that Brady's are roughly one every other box. |
