Where Does Vlad Jr. Start the Season?
 

I know it’s early yet, but just curious where you guys think he starts off. I have an opportunity to watch him play if he starts in AA and was just wondering if that’s a realistic place for him to start the season.

HOF based upon his prices

The .944 OPS is nice at High-A, but he's 19 in a few days and has just 48 games there. I'd bet they start him at A+ Dunedin again, and he moves up to Double-A midseason. If he continues to rake, he'll be able to make the jump from Double-A to the bigs.

The Blue Jays aren't really in a rush given their competitive arc right now.

Probably a 50 game suspension for PED use.

I was going to say that as soon as I opened the thread!

It would seem to me to be a waste to go back to A+ for him. I would start him in AA. The only reason to start him in A+ for a few games is the weather gets better in Buffalo.

I hope both Vlad and Bo hit their way to AA by May. :flex::flex:

The way they both played at Dunedin last year, I'd expect them both in AA to start the season. You can never be sure in these situations, but I don't see the reasoning in sending them back to Hi A.

I'm definitely hoping he and Bo are in NH as long as possible :) Planning on seeing more than a few games while they are here.

I'm hoping he gets demoted to Vancouver so I can watch him play!
