Help me understand the confusion on this Brady Rc
I have tried searching the forum and can't seem to pin point a post explaining it. I have tried google and find five different stories. I am not looking for an opinion, I am looking for information by someone who has actually cracked open Factory Sets of 2000 Collectors Edge Supreme Football boxes. Not hobby packs but the factory set. The checklist has Tom Brady as card #176, is he in the factory set or not? Also if he is in the set are the Rc's numbered to 2000? Thank you in advance
From what I read when collectors edge went out of business things were a real mess and many replacement cards somehow found there way into the population but were never numbered. I also read some people say that Brady is a Rc included in the factory set, and some say he was never put into the factory set despite being on the checklist. |
He was included in hobby boxes. He was not included in the factory set. You will see the sets go pretty cheap on ebay but once in a while sellers will try to mislead people. They usually don't say "includes Tom Brady" but they will write something like "Tom Brady's rookie year!". I guess they think that covers them when buyers open the box and don't find Brady.

I can confirm this. Supreme factory set opened/owner since 2000. |
