Offical 2018 Los Angeles Rams Thread
Season starts in a week. Hornsup !!
|
Raiders gonna get BLASTED
|
Good start to the season.Defense came to play in second half. All alone in first place in division.
|
last nights game was a work of art. there is not really anywhere to pick out a flaw. i suppose lack of edge rush was a weakness that showed at the start of the game but things settled down just fine after the first raiders drive and even more in the second half.
this team is a force. |
You can tell the starters didn't take a snap in preseason. A bit rusty, Oakland came out with their hair on fire and played a great first half.
But the Rams made the second half adjustments like always - Phillips the best in the NFL in making adjustments I would like to see better clock management out of McVay. Hell of a coach but needs to kill the clock better late in games when they are up. Passing is fine, just a tad more conservative and keep the ball in play, stay inbounds, etc. |
Good stuff by the Rams to start the year. Wonder how good they can be? Seems like all the pieces are there.
What are their weaknesses? |
Go Rams!

This week its the Cardinals.Suh has let it known that he has payback on his mind when he plays against Bradford.

Suh has payback on his mind? For what? Do you mean just something to prove and to show teams that he deserved to be picked ahead of Bradford in the 2010 draft? I’m actually curious to read the article you read stating “payback.” |

Yeah just being picked ahead of him is all. |

The article was on ESPN. |

Yeah, that’s what I figured. There was no mention of “payback” in the article. |
Total domination today !!! The Rams did what ever they wanted against the Cards.Next week bring on L.A.
|
Alot of doubters still because who the Rams have played. Lets make it 3-0 before the Vikings game on Thursday !!
|
I feel like next week's Thursday night game might be a NFC championship preview? Both those teams are solid as they come from 1-30 .. they seem to have very little to no weakness, should be fun.
|
Total dominance by the offense.3-0 for the first time since 2001.Bring on the Vikings !!
|
I hope Talib and Peters are okay. I think Vikings win if both starting corners are inactive.
|
Good Goff article on NFL.

Rams will need to pressure Cousins in order to help out the secondary, especially backup corners Roby and Shields. Having home field and McVay being familiar with Cousins should be slight advantages for the Rams.
|
Rams enabled the Jack-in-the-Box special (for SoCal fans) by scoring the two touchdowns needed before the 1st quarter was even done yesterday. I remember when the deal was first offered for the 2016 season and it coincided with the Rams being the lowest scoring team in football. I think they came through something like 4 times that year. Last year, I think they only came up short 3 times all season as the highest scoring team in the league. Looks like they'll at least match that number this year, although it may be tough to top KC for the scoring title, they way they're going. Hopefully, it'll be them and the Rams in the Super Bowl.
Great start to the season so far. Looking forward to the rest... |
As a Seahawk fan, I'm not looking forward to our meetings this year. ha
I wouldn't be surprised to see this Rams team win 14 games this year! Just a loaded team right now on both sides of the ball. |
Prime Time tonight !! Offense to shine tonight :)!
Prime Time tonight !! Offense to shine tonight :)!
Woah, what a TNF game!
I couldn't believe how excited I was for the two rookie QB's last week but obviously this one is going to be even better. I'm super into TNF this year because it feels like a "real" game with the 1st rate announcers, regardless of how you feel about them. |
