KC defense has looked pretty bad so far. That game could be high scoring.

I think McKinnon getting hurt may have a small effect on them. If Hyde has good year, Jimmy will have a good year.

I also think Goodwin becomes a star this year. His speed will be on display with Jimmy as his QB.

Am I the only one who thinks it's crazy that people are dropping this kind of money on an essentially unproven talent who has started 7 games and is about to turn 27?

There is still growth. The RB injury has an impact but Breida and Morris should be enough, for now.

I cashed out about half my hold over the course of the offseason. Market is pretty saturated at the moment imo because everyone is trying to hedge/sell high at the same time right now. For his cards to maintain their values the Niners need to not only be winning but winning because of him and for his cards to skyrocket further he needs to do all that plus end up like a media celebrity pop icon type person which if that were to happen to an NFL player he’d certainly be at the top of the list. But yeah, all your mom’s need to know who he is to see another huge jump imo

My mom still thinks Joe Montana plays for the 49ers, so Jimmy’s cards will tank.

I could see his prices going up for the the first couple weeks but he would would have to maintain an unbelievable High level of play to sustain his current prices, especially considering how many autos of him in a niners uni are coming out

Gem Mint graded SP Authentics which is his [I]non auto college card "rookie"[/I] are routinely selling for absurd amounts. Clecters can spend their money any which way they choose to, but still.

if he was a back up to anyone else in the NFL we would not be having this conversation, people hope he is the next Brady but he is 27 playing for a rebuilding 49ers. My question is why would anyone purchase or trade for his stuff when its at an all time inflated high. Unless he wins a few MVP's, breaks some records, wins some super bowls and creates another 49ers dynasty and becomes a household name, is mentioned in talks as the greatest of all time there is nowhere to go but down

Needs to lose one and get that out the way and then do the damn thing. I don't think the RB situation is that big of a deal.

I sold my BGS 9.5 SP Authentic Gold /99 back at the beginning of the year for around $1700 because while it could go higher and might be as I haven't looked at the going rate since, but unless he has just an MVP season, and wins the Super Bowl, I see his stuff coming down a bit.
