Shipping with Ebay

Random thing first, but I think it's funny I won an Auction on 8/29, card still not delivered as of today, and a card I won on 9/2, just got delivered today. Oh well, just think it's funny how our postal service operates sometimes.

My real question though, is how do you guys print your shipping labels? I just print on normal paper through Paypal and tape it on, but is it worth it to get adhesive shipping labels? I'm not sure just how much I'll be selling stuff through ebay, and also what size labels to use for the bubble mailers I have.

Do not buy the adhesive sheets for printers they are not worth the price.

More important is what kind of printer are you using, if you are going to be selling a lot. I do what you do but I use a laser printer it costs about as much as getting a thermal with the adhesive rolls both have their advantages and disadvantages but both far exceed a standard inkjet in efficiency.

I use a thermal printer. I ship 10-15 packages a day and it's great! I also have a laser printer for everything else. If you dont need colored prints then theres no reason to own an ink printer.

The post office gives away free adhesive plastic sleeves (PS Form 2976-ES) that I get to put the paper shipping label inside and then seal it to the package.

Honestly, I just print the shipping labels from my work using the Ricoh printer we have. I might look at getting a laser printer for at home because I hate dealing with ink cartridges, like you mentioned.

Zebra 2844 thermal printer that has been humming along probably for 8 years.
