Listing of Topps SPs and SSPs
I have recently acquired a large amount of Topps flagship cards covering many years. In addition to pulling out any key RCs and star cards (Trout, Harper, etc.), I would also like to be sure to pull out any SPs and SSPs. Is there a listing anywhere that shows the SPs and SSPs for Topps flagship for every year? Any help or insight you can provide is appreciated.

Cardboard connection

Check cardboard connection like the previous member stated.
Also in Bowman, Heritage, and other Topps products there is a code at the bottom on the back of each card. The code will be different than a regular base card. It's way too confusing. I have a few cards in top loaders that wouldn't even be top loader worthy that I finally figured out were variations recently. I do like that HHN started putting the designation on the back of the card, i.e. action, error, etc. |

For those of us with bad eyesight, the Heritage thing has been a godsend. |
Thank you for the feedback and quick responses!

Flip to the back and get ready to spend hours looking at that code on the bottom. Granted, the hours spent here are several hours fewer than trying to compare to a checklist. One note, though... if there's a clear differentiator on the front they typically don't change the code on the back. I think the anniversary cards are an example of that. Gold logo on front = no difference on back. That's the only parallel for Heritage I can think of that is like that.... Base, on the other hand... I missed a black parallel Topps base card when I flipped through during ripping. Missed it again when checking all the codes on the base cards (since the numbers are the same) and only caught it a month later when I was sorting and saw the serial numbering. |

I had to get glasses after trying to figure out which Heritage cards were SPs |
Get a magnifying glass. Even with decent vision, those numbers drive your eyes crazy after a few.

A few years back (2016 I think) Heritage didn't use different codes. That one is pure hunt and peck...
