Football Cards Trimmed by Heroes of Sport Owner Will Jaimet and Sold via PWCC

This thread is simply a reference list of football cards trimmed by Will Jaimet and sold through PWCC. I urge you to read through the thread linked directly below for a full understanding of Will Jaimet's fraud:

https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1288383

The cards listed here are just the tip of the iceberg. I would strongly advise against anyone buying any modern graded (PSA, BGS, or SGC) cards that were first sold through PWCC. The reason for this will become more and more evident in the coming weeks and months. In addition, in reference to the thread linked above, do not purchase any Heroes of Sport products.

Jaimet's eBay account is qut9, which displays as q***u. He has been selling trimmed cards though PWCC for years and his been trimming cards since at least early 2015.

There are more, but I'm done for the day.

I wonder where those people are who used to get all butt sore when I posted up a graded card with a bad centering grade or a card with a 10 surface when it had a big scratch on it.

Those false grades seem minor now.

I hate to be the one to say I was right about grading all along..............................................................................but I was right:coffee:

I think there were a lot of suspicions but I have noticed some minor but obvios grading errors in the last two weeks before I started reading these threads (possibly, not sure) but i have noticed while buying again. Mostly just centering. But youre right, these TAKE the cake "away".

majestik101 04-20-2019 07:44 PM

Buy the card not the grade.

:p

This is nuts! Thanks for your research. How do these people even go about doing stuff like this?

Yeah there was a time when PSA and beckett were defended but not sure how people can defend these frauds anymore. I always asked if the graders are pushing grades for certain people and I got laughed at. Or if they were on the take.

Suck it PSA/BGS loyalist! Suck it hard!!!! :)

I am sure some big time collectors get special treatment. The stuff in these threads seem like a plain incompetence to me. I think Joe collector assumes way too much when it comes to the time per card and expertise of the graders. This isn't exact science, they just need to be in the ball park for the opinion to hold weight. Clearly they are not measuring every card. PSA and BGS priority is to get the cards through the system as fast as possible.

The trimmers don't cost that much and can easily pay for themselves after one sale.

As long as PSA and BGS and all the other grading services grade these as a 10 people are going to keep doing it. What's the consequence for them not to do it?

cypher 04-21-2019 04:03 AM

If BGS/PSA logged measurements they would absolutely be able to catch trimmed cards. Yes some 1% of miscut from factory cards wouldn't be graded but they would eliminate trimmed graded cards.

If it's miscut from the factory it's still not a PSA 10 correct?

KhalDrogo 04-21-2019 09:06 AM

The thought is that PSA and BGS both have a very small tolerance for size discrepancies. It is likely 1/64th of an inch based on prior research which showed a known trimmer looking for somebody to alter his machinery to more precisely trim paper by 1/64th of an inch.

However, there is absolutely no possibility that the grading companies measure each and every card. I've seen too many examples that are obviously trimmed greater than 1/64th of an inch.

The most dangerous cards to be purchasing today are unnumbered, condition-sensitive, and highly-desired paper copies. Think 2011 Update Trout and 2000 Bowman Brady. Removing a dinged corner or a chipped edge can result in a profit of hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

I only pull for 04-21-2019 09:27 AM

It also helps when you're BFF's with the people in charge at the grading companies. Check out his friends list on facebook. You'll see Jeromy Murray's name again... and his buddy at SGC seems to be popping up in friends list of these #@#@#@#@#@#@#@s lately, too.

My Brady contenders has a nice ding on one of the edges. It could be a 9.5 in no time

All it takes is access to some fancy scissors and a connection to either a grading company or consignment company. It's so easy nowadays. Let us know how it turns out. Hoping you get a pristine 10 back label!

Jaimet is back at it selling trimmed cards with PWCC, read below:

I dont understand something. If PWCC is under some type of investigation for a certin activity then how on gods green earth is the agency investigating him allowing him to continue doing exactly what he is under investigation for over and over and over?

Jaimet probably said he name was John Smith or something and similar to how they list fake autographs and totally bogus Tom Brady cards, PWCC's highly qualified employees thought it checked out.

Except that Jaimet lives in Lake Oswego so who the hell even knows.

Yea, I dont get it. If someone was under investigation for stock fraud I find it highly unlikely they would be able to continue buying and selling stock during the investigation.

I could be wrong.

Jaimet looks the worst here imo. How dumb do you have to be? He's practically sending his cards right to the feds at this point.

Go back and read about Operation Bullpen and its proceeding investigation. The local police set up a front company and bought up fake/forged memorabilia from known bad dealers in order to gather evidence. Who’s to say that’s not a tactic being employed here again.
