Panini Redemptions FYI...
 

Good afternoon. Just wanted to share a a bit of info in these downtrodden times. I was alerted early yesterday morning to a redemption being shipped by Panini. It was for a 2019-20 Crown Royale Silhouettes Prime /10 Karl-Anthony Towns. I received it today via FedEx and it was not as it seems. It was a 2017-18 Silo Prime. No letter or online message about replacement so I'm preparing others if you get a redemption alert that it maybe back stock replacements to fill out all the orders.

Be prepared is all. If you're fortunate, good and disregard. I don't know how many pending are going out like this. They obviously don't expect a single sig in the next 8 months to come in imho.

Extrapolating further, how are new card releases coming out at all? They won't do massive redemptions, just very choppy hit checklists.

Why do you think nothing will get signed for the next 8 months? Athletes are all stuck at home and the mail still works i'd expect more signing if anything.

Lol. You mean the design is better? I have one already is the drawback. But it is equivalent in a sense so yes could be way worse.

I made that bold suggestion because they replaced my redemption without consent after just 1 month of the 8 month standard window to ship. Speaks to a bigger picture for Panini redemptions period. We'll see if athletes continue signing or not. Hope so of course.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if it was just a misinformed employee thinking they were fulfilling the redemption and getting the years confused. The fact your got a KAT prime silo but just a different year makes me think it’s a mistake. Giving you a prime silo for prime silo of the same player is something that is to logical for the panini redemption department. If it was a different player or completely different set I would guess it was a replacement but I honestly think it was a mistake. I hope they make it right for you!!!!
