2020 bowman mega boxes out yet?
 

Does anyone out there have any information on when the 2020 bowman mega boxes will be out? Any idea what they will cost? Last year they were 20 bucks...more this year?

Mega Boxes are kind of a "find and figure out" situation; IIRC Topps usually only says "check Target for Exclusive Mega Boxes"

Not too familiar with the bowman retail scene...is it better to rip or stash?

YAY, its the 2020 Bowman Mega thread!!!

Jasson Dominguez will make or break mega this year. If he has an auto in it, expect it to go nuts. If not, its still a good buy but not worth buying all off the shelves.

Doesn't matter. Mega always sells and will always be off the shelves faster then they are put up.

Wander was around $30 raw after release last yr. $50 for Jasson?

Yea, I'm slowly coming to terms with the fact I probably won't be able to find these this year- I have stupid online breaker in my area who sends people to stalk all the reps (stupid in many senses here)

I would expect Megas to open at about 3x whatever the First Edition is going for at that time.

$375 for a mega box or mega jasson?

If Jasson base is going for $375 boxes will be $100-150 even if overproduced. Going to be a wild ride.

But 0% chance a base Jasson mega is $375. Don't know why poster above thinks mega Jasson > bowman 1st Jasson. That just doesn't compute.

I think there will be a premium, just not a 3x premium. Probably 1.5x or so

How can you justify any premium though?? It should sell for significantly less than Bowman 1st.

I wouldn’t know. The excel rep in my area has taken them all the last two years. 2017 was great though.

Anything more than $150 off the bat just doesnt make sense...but then again a lot of whats going on in the hobby doesnt make sense.
