As this is the most trimmed soccer card and BGS in particular has slabbed a number of altered examples, I am going to start outing these as they come up for sale.

Rather than trying to find “before” images, I will share a copy I have with similar centering and point out how the trimmed card is short and/or narrow. I guarantee none of the outed cards measures 2.5x3.5. Hopefully I can save someone from wasting their money...

Similar t/b centering, but either top, bottom, or both trimmed. Most likely top as that edge is usually rough cut, but sometimes the bottom is. Same left edge, but right edge is significantly narrower; right edge is usually rough cut, so that makes sense.

I was about to do this. Watch out for the ones sold by smalltraditions ( possible trimmer as discussed in other subs).

Not sure about smalltraditions - I bought a Megacracks from them that is definitely not trimmed (measures properly and has edge wear).

BGS does NOT measure these cards.

I am very wary of buying this card raw. Only real way of knowing is to pull the card yourself from a box!

Well, I don’t think the raw copies are getting trimmed - it’s the graded ones you have to worry about!
