Shipping to Canada

Just sold a 4K Luka on Ebay, I accepted a offer without realizing the buyer is from Canada. Usually only use the global shipping program but missed that step in this listing. Any tips on what service to use to make sure I don’t get a item not received claim on ebay?

As a Canadian, is there any way you can avoid using the GSP? It's by far the most infuriating thing I have ever been a part of. It took 1 small package 10 weeks to get to me from LA and I couldn't even track it past the sorting point. All it said was delivered to Sorting Center. After that, I had no idea where it was or when it was coming. Can you ship insured and tracked via UPS, Fedex or Purolator? At least you can track it and get proof of signature when received.

As long as I can get proof of delivery I’m good. If USPS Priority does do that, Ill happily start offering that service. I know in the past POD was difficult to get internationally which often left sellers on the wrong side of item not received cases..

I think even just USPS 1st Class Intl has tracking fwiw, but yes so would Priority

I can't remember a time when there was not a way to get tracking to Canada tbh, USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, all have services tracking to Canada

I've sent some packages over to Canada before. Just send it either usps with tracking and sig or fedex

I honestly thought we were forced to use the ebay international sorting thing at this point.

this this this! buttttt don't claim it as 4k value otherwise he may have to pay like $800 for duties

Good luck. I sent a $100 card to London, Ontario.........ended up being shipped to London, England.
Called the post office.
They showed tracking to shipping center in California (I'm in Vegas)
Called California........and they showed it being shipped to England.
Got the number to Royal British Mail............bet you can guess the rest.

So, I don't ship overseas (or even friendly neighbor to the north any longer)

FedEx. Good luck with duties (you or the recipient will likely pay on something of that dollar amount unless you claim its $50.)
