Video above describes the Mets personnel discussing the plan Manfred wanted to happen tonight. The Mets and Marlins wanted to not play to take a stand. Manfred wanted them to take the field, then walk off at 7:10, then return at 8:10 to play.

Brodie says “he just doesn’t get it”.

Manfred could be in a lot of trouble for this, attempting to use the players and go against the players wants for his own plan

Maybe Manfred will get the boot.

Not a fan of Manfred but quoting Keith Olbermann is pretty bad.

Manfred is a fool, and if this is what gets him fired, then great.

They're all bad, because they all work for the owners.....people keep on thinking that they're supposed to be "neutral" guardians of the game, but they're not.

Adam Silver (NBA) is probably the least "bad", because NBA owners are actually reasonably enlightened, especially when compared to MLB & NFL owners.
