Anybody else think this guy is good or is it just a flash in the pan hot streak like Aquino had last year?

I think he’s legit. Rays will develop him into a star

If he is, I'm glad he was traded away from St. Louis. I also wouldn't mind since I probably have pulled him the most of any rookie in Chrome.

same, I actually gave away my pink refractor to someone, and i regret it haha

I like his Topps Chrome base card showing him on the Cardinals still. The back informs me that he was acquired via “trade with Cardinals”

But then his RCs are now headed off to join the ones from Didi Gregorious and Yoan Moncada

He raked in the minors with the Cards. Don't be surprised if he does well in the majors. I'm a Cards fan and still annoyed they kept pushing guys like O'Neil and Bader who continued to struggle, but wouldn't really give Arozarena a legit shot. I hope he does well.

I believe Clearly Authentic and Stadium Club have him in a Cardinals uni too. I just picked up a Stadium Club rookie auto and it has a super cool photo. He has a cool autograph too.

He improved every year in the minors. He has the potential to be a pretty decent bat.

It's weird if the Stadium Club Rookie Auto shows him as a Cardinal, because the base shows him as a Ray. I saw a break online from Up North Collectors and they pulled one and mentioned it because most of his rookies do show him in a Cards jersey

Just checked and his Stadium Club rookie auto is indeed in a baby blue Cardinals uni. His Five Star rookie auto appears to be in a photo shopped Rays uni. I also have an insert auto from Topps Series 2 I believe where he’s in a photo shopped Rays uni.

Always liked him. I wish he had a Bowman signature. Glad he’s getting AB’s.

Probably a different standard for Stadium Club in terms of photoshopping. They sign many months before -- we all know that -- the issue was likely that there were no Rays uniform photos available that met the standards of Stadium Club at the time that he signed.

My question is this. Would you have rather have had a Rays redemption, or the Cardinals auto we have?

His Turkey Red insert in S2 is fully painted into a Rays uniform. I like those cards. But RC inserts are ... who cares

So is he the CF of the future for the Rays?

Saw several of his 2020 Topps Series 1 flagship sell from my account on COMC and wondered what he was up to. Looks like 5 HR in 45 AB has some people excited.

I think he’s cooled a bit with the season ending soon I don’t think they hype has held. Wish it would. I tire a bunch of his flagship and a gold up on fee bay to see if it moved,lol. I actually like his swing though. Good balance.

Interesting, looks like he may still be ROY eligible next year based on AB & 25-man roster time. I may set a few aside.

He's got pop and could be a klepto on the bases. [URL="https://www.mlb.com/rays/video/john-curtiss-in-play-out-s-to-dj-lemahieu"]He's got an arm too[/URL]. I believe this is the only DP assist from LF this year. I have a few of his cards but nothing to write home about.

Another case of 2 team split RCs....always makes the price to sell 1/2 of what it could be.

Two homer game last night, up to 7 HR in 54 ABs -- definitely setting them aside now.

Which RC will be the ones to hold? S1 & TC?

I have a gold and a bunch of base s1 up on eBay. Haven’t posted my chrome yet. Thinking maybe I should pull them lol.
