Ebay seller to avoid.
 

Hey Gang,
So a few days ago I offered a seller $40 on a Brian Sipe auto which is about the going rate and he turned me down and told me he wanted to see what the auction would go for if he let it rid. No worries i get that. So we fast forward to today and i get a email telling me the auction is going to end in 14 minutes and it has no bids. His starting bid was $19.10 so I placed a bid on it and won it for $19.10. I get ready to send payment and the seller canceled the auction saying the item is no longer in stock. So I contacted him and this is what that went like. Read from the bottom up:

You should have been smart and took the offer when I gave it to you the first time.

I’ll never understand this. I’ve sold stuff below market and been bummed. But if someone got a good deal, good for them. I’d never tarnish my reputation for a few bucks. Or even worry about it.

Right we have all took a hit at one time or another its part of the game. But what gets me is he thinks that me going public with this is a joke and I would be the one that gets laughed at by posting it up. This is the type of person that this hobby does not need.

My brother and a few others said the same thing. If he has children to feed why is he spending money on cards.

The only thing to do is leave him [URL="https://www.ebay.com/fdbk/feedback_profile/jamithom_57?filter=feedback_page:RECEIVED_AS_SELLER&_trksid=p2047675.l2560"]negative feedback[/URL] so others are warned and don't waste time with him. (Don't worry, he can only leave positive fb for you.)

It feels bad for ab 5 mins but it's the only way to correct the problem. He will learn from it, too, so it helps him in the long-run. (Negs only last a year's length in regards to the fb%.)

I cant leave feedback because the auctin was canceled. But I did speak with a representative from ebay over the phone and after telling them what had happened and them looking over the messages it looks like he will be loosing his account.

I would avoid him because he put standard shipping as $12 for the Sipe card

If the auction ended w/ you as the winner then you'll be able to lv fb. It just may take a day or two for that to become an option.

You can leave feedback. There's a tutorial I don't have time to look up now but there is a way to see canceled sales and then leave neg feedback from there.

On your purchased items...scroll way way way to the bottom past everything else. Thats where cancelled items get buried...so yes you can leave feedback.

And no chance he loses his account...
