I'm the only person who likes the design on these, but I'm not buying spots in any breaks if Ford isn't in it.
|
Another new bump to make this highest dealer cost Stellar released, close to $8k

Not seeing ford makes this very tough to order. |

Not the only, but definitely in the minority. Last year was such a slick design but when you have repeat signers you have to switch it up year to year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Count me in for this card alone:

No Ford on sell sheet- panic thinking he's not in it so value won't be there
Ford on sell sheet- panic thinking his values are tanking and all of his cards will get a hit so value won't be there |

I'm likely the biggest Stellar breaker in the country, I know all about the value in these sets. I'm not worried about Ford being in there. My comment was to point out the hypocrisy on how every release there is a narrative pushed, traditionally by those who have never or won't ever pony up to actually do one of these |

Do you remember the dealer cost for 2020? |

7200-7400 |
Man, I would love to bite on a Stellar case one of these years when I have the cash because I have nearly none of the new big name autos, but jeez, with this design I'm just not even considering this years.
I loved last years but didn't have the cash. |

I like the design, last years was awesome, but this is far from bad. |
So are there two Adam Driver's per case (and whoever else has a "variation" version) or do you get one or the other? Hopefully the former...
|
I would expect he variation versions replaces the regular version for any given signer.

You don't have to buy tons of something to understand how it works. Ford has been the key component to each of these sets. Losing him to anyone who isn't George Lucas is a big hit. Yes, Clarke will sell well, and will probably surpass Ford in sales because hey, sex sells. Ask me if she should be in the same league as Ford? No way, not a chance. You're talking a Hollywood LEGEND vs someone with a long ways to go. If I'm getting into any of this it's for a chance at a Ford, but I guess I'd have no problem trading a Clarke for one. And nobody here is panicking about it, I'm not sure who your comment was directed at? Will be interesting to see how the whole checklist looks. |

Obviously Clarke isn’t going to have a big push from any current content, but people should be smart and avoid the overpriced long shot MW odds for her and get into Stellar breaks if her auto is what they’re chasing. Stellar will seemingly break at whatever crazy prices on release day, but also there’s a good core of collectors are smart enough to back off when prices rise and wait for sales to get cases for group breaks. Losing Ford and/or Pascal would be a major hit to the value, no question. Supporting signer roster is also important. Depending how many $50 and under signers there are could hurt resale opportunities plus factor in Daisy and Driver going lower and lower and COVID bubble effect likely subsiding soon prices may come back to reality. They've shown 3 whole base autos out of 36, this whole narrative on values of release assuming he is not in it is completely unwarranted until checklist released. And I never said anything on who is more valuable, no clue where that even came in to it. Either case, another interesting change in the sell sheet I didn't notice until now. Sell sheet references "Star Wars talent" being the autograph subjects whereas every previous Stellar sell sheet uses "Star Wars actors and actresses". Wonder if that's a bit of a cover to finally include some more of the behind the scenes individuals we've been hoping for in a release |

[QUOTE=PrinceVegeta;17529702]Last Stellar I was moving drivers at 200. He seems to be 400ish now. Maybe that's just hype from him being involved in the new Obi-Wan show, and I also think people will prefer the Vader name and image over Anakin like it is for 2021. |
On a positive note. Thought it would be fun to speculate new signers. If I remember the signers change by around 13-18 each year from previous year. Who do you guys think some of the new adds will be?
Some of my guesses: Cut video game signers Add 4 bad batch signers with a quad of them all Add Horatio sanz Add two big unexpected signers (Sackhoff, Rosario, Olyphant) No Kenny Baker Biggest Hopes that are maybe, kinda, possible (not Hamill or Lucas): Filioni or Favreau |

At a price point this high, I don't want to see any behind the scenes people. Unless you are talking John Williams-caliber ones. |

I guess would be unique in some respect lol |
