Price Check, 1999 Michael Jordan Bulls auto
1 Attachment(s)
Very interest in buying a 1999 UD Master collection Michael Jordan on card auto /50, how much they should worth at current market price?
See attached picture, thanks. |
A BGS 9.5 just did 17k a few days ago and a raw did just under 9k about 2 weeks ago. Before then the most recent sales I can find were 4 9.5's that all ended on September 21st 2020 for 5.9k, 7.1k, 7.2k, and 6.1k. So, based on all that I'd say that 9k raw comp was probably a slight overpay, maybe 8k raw, and then just use the typical multiples for higher grade copies.

At least 10k.

Are you looking to buy the one you specifically sent a pic of? I'd think the autos of the Finals winning shot would be more than other autos in that set. Maybe not much, but a little premium.

I would like to offer $1 more than you for the card in the OP

Love that set. This is mine

See attached picture, thanks.
a PSA 10 of this specific card ended at $19K with BP at Goldin in one of the more recent auctions |
The MJ10 in the OP's photo is the card I've got in my collection. Mine is #12/50. It's been sitting in a lock box for over 20 years now and I'm too scared to send it off to get graded. Looks flawless to me, but I'm sure PSA or BGS would be a lot tougher in their evaluation. One thing is for sure, it has a perfect bold signature with no skips so the Auto grade would definitely be a 10. I'm surprised the PSA 10 only went for $19k because with Jordan autos what they are and this being the Final Shot card I would've expected an even higher sale price.

Curious of opinions on the value of this card I own. Not for sale or trade.
Numbered 03/10. |

Beautiful card and iconic shot for sure. But it's probably because these come from special boxed sets as opposed to general pack release Jordan autos. I'd say they're pretty fairly priced considering a Bulls Exq Enshrinements auto /23 goes for considerably less. |
