Guilty as charged I guess. But hopefully this thread can gain some traction once it goes live. I enjoy topshot just to collect Luka and Mavs movements plus some of my favorite players.
I will do the same with Cowboys moments.
I think it will translate well to football plays.

Will definitely sign up and flip what I can, people will buy into Series 1 for these.

Not so sure yet about long term value, I hope they won’t print 60k moments.

Nah not my thing. I know people enjoy it just can’t get into digital stuff like this. Plus there’s no positive moments for the Falcons.

I’m sure there will eventually be a Jamal Anderson dirty bird Run It Back moment and some Deion and Vick moments eventually. They’ll definitely be a Pitts rookie which I’ll guess will be over $400 immediately

Just an email from almost a week ago honeyd*cking me by telling my that the Closed Beta is coming. These guys continuing the trend of picking more winners.

From discord and such, seemed like they had a good balance of picking people. Obviously NLL got it, I had a few friends collecting who have big profiles. Also have a friend who has a CS under 1K who got the invite.

They also said this is just wave 1 of closed beta and more waves are coming

Here is how I kind of expect the roll out to happen as long as there are no massive crashes or anything

Closed beta first pack is Dec 10th

Next wave of closed beta people mid Dec around 17-20. Another pack drop soon after

Then early January they drop open beta access along with some base packs

Mid January - early March will have special playoff packs culminating in the first legendary, celebrating the Super Bowl

Then throughout March - June we will get base pack drops, and then some special rare packs as well

All culminating in the NFL version of RIB in July as training camp starts up

Then the 2022 season begins in September with week 1 moments

My early guess for NFL RIB will be 2012 season with Wilson’s rookie year, and other big names. Could also see 2011 with Cam and Julio and such

2007 would also be strong but not sure if they wanna start that far back but you would get monster rookie debut and AD debut with guys like Megatron

I’m just sad that with the Bucs winning the Super Bowl last year, I think it’s a long time before we see a RIB for the 2020 season. And I doubt we see RIB 2002 anytime soon so Bucs championship moments need to take a backseat

Oh I’m salty too. I was sad for sure. No worries there. I was more so saying in general cuz common discourse for people not selected is to say only the whales got it

Premium - 249

Standard packs have 2 commons and then either a common/rare/legendary based on percentages
Premium packs have 3 commons and then a guaranteed rare or legendary

Packs are based on week 13

Legendary mints around 40-60
Rare mints around 400-1000
Debut mints around 10K for commons, unsure of what non debut mints will be

Marketplace will open once full open beta is available. No marketplace during closed beta

Everyone will get a shot at week 13 packs, they’re only selling a small amount for closed beta members today

Different sets throughout the packs, so no special packs like a cool cats pack. A common pack could have a base moment, a “cool cats” style moment and then a “cool cats” style rare

I think I might like the 'hit' model for long term sustainability.

I know the S3 packs they are releasing in Basketball, where most everything is /60,000, and your best chance at a hit is a rookie /4,000, isn't very exciting.

Premium packs are first today, 9000 total premium packs in week 13 release. They’re only dropping 432 of premium packs today, so only 4.8% of the supply. So even if you got access, you’ll still need luck to hit a pack

I know a lot of people got mad at the “rich get richer for closed beta people” but in reality you’ll still need good luck to have a chance at a pack today
