So the Candy MLB nft marketplace is opening this coming weekend. Do any of you have items you will be listing? I know there are plenty that think the NFT stuff is a joke, but for those invested what do you look forward to the most?

It'll be super interesting to see pricing on all the stuff I've bought from Candy. Bought lots of the Playoff plays of the day, bought some trophies, ripped like 15 icons and uncut diamonds packs. I'm in no rush to sell - will be more into buying if the price is right!

If you twisted my arm I'd say I'd list some of my dupe Play of the Days.

I won’t be listing anything because I think the market will be flooded early on with people that have been waiting to flip. I’m actually hoping I can find some deals on prospects with less name recognition.

Trout and Othani Epic’s just sold for $15K each!!!

I didn't have much...just a few commons and a Pepiot uncommon, but I underestimated the values out of the gate. My stuff was gone within 10 minutes and I definitely left a few hundo on the table.

I sold basically everything I had today and made 2k from 3 $50 dollar packs (2 all star icon 1 uncut diamonds)

This marketplace is atrocious compared to even the early topshot market. Just totally disorganized, you cant search recent sales, cant sort listings by rarity or anything else

Marketplace definitely needs lots of improvements but I'm glad I got in on this early. My logic was Fanatics/MLB licensing + low mintage + only all stars/top prospects = low risk.

Fully with you on it being a good flip short term, and good to be an early adopter

1 Million $ Sales in the First 8h was a pretty decent start, Candy does a lot of things right for NFTs.

I was never able to get any packs but bought a few things this morning. Not sure if there will be any significance to the edition of the Team Candy jersey's but I picked up 2 of those (1204 and 5089). Also uncommon of Jose Ramirez, Shane Bieber, Whit Merrifield and Rutschman.

Kikuchi and Rolison are being eaten up by the Candy Community fyi, creating a bottleneck for set collectors AND creating some initial lore and mythology around the platform. Fun times!

PSA for my BO friends - Candy Digital has initiated an initial 7 day hold on ALL sales proceeds on their platform. Over $2 million in sales (I'm guessing) have been held in the first 36 hours, and a good portion of this will get poured back into the platform once released. This will inevitably cause an upswing in price, as there has not to this point been any additional product releases announced.

The inventory is static for now, there is demand but an artificial governor on reinvestment. If you want in on the platform I'd inject some initial seed money in the next 5-6 days.

Found the marketplace fast and smooth. Not sleeping on this one as it looks like its setup for longevity. Time will tell if there's a stall similar to what Topps is experiencing.

The market is heating up. Trout Cores out of /409 have gone from $500ish day 1 to a current floor of $1,850 day 3. Was around $1k yesterday. I bought a Bichette Core today for $138, seeing the 2nd tier guys heating up. Current floor - $250.

I’m curious with what will happen with Candy and Topps NFTs now. Fanatics owning topps, curious if they will integrate or just shut one of them down

Hold those. I checked it out this morning-- most above $750. Have to imagine if prices keep skyrocketing you will be a very happy man off those in a month or two.

Prices are crazy, the uncut diamond packs are about 700 and the all star icons are 1200.

Man definitely missed out on this. Wasn’t a fan of the marketplace being 2-2.5 months after packs released, should’ve just bought a couple just for fun
