2022 Topps Chrome "Cosmic" Baseball
Hi (edit part)
I know 2022 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball wont be out until November.. Currently Wander Franco Rookie cards will be in this product and we could possibly see BOBBY WITT JR / JULIO RODRIGUEZ / RILEY GREENE / ADLEY RUTSCHMAN and a few others if they get called up soon. at $250 / hobby box doesnt it sound to good to be true? Francos Base Rookie will probably sell for $50-$75 while Witt-Jrod could be in the $25-50 range. By this time PSA should have a $35-50 grading level Any thoughts on the potential of this product as well as the current price? I think it could be one of the hottest products if not the hottest of these past years. From Beckett: 2022 Topps Chrome Cosmic Baseball Topps is making their Chrome line a little wilder for Cosmic (or “out of this world” as they put it). Hobby boxes deliver three parallels with autographs being tougher at four per case. 2022 Topps Chrome Cosmic Baseball is expected in November. |
First thing that crosses my mind after reading this is Fleer Metal Universe.
|
Over/under this actually makes it to market?
I'm thinking 39.5% it releases. |

Coming in Summer 23.
|
Already better than Chrome Black!
|
Only 3 parallels per box.
YEEEES YESSSS YEEEEEEEEEESSSS Parallels worth chasing. |
I will buy any stupid Chrome variation Topps throws at us if Witt, Tork, Adley, Greene, and JRod are on the checklist.
|
Can they make chrome with etching?
Metal Universe is one of my favorite lines. |
And no print lines please. They didn't exist for nearly a decade.
|
This sounds very cool… if we have a season for which they release cards, of course
|
Totally in.
|
No preview pics?
|
In; price depending of course

“ 2022 Topps Chrome Cosmic Baseball is expected in November.”
Very wise of them not to attach a year to that expectation. |

Because fifty flagship parallel products weren’t enough another is needed.
|
Looking forward to the Stardust parallels with real pieces of meteorite embedded in them.
|
Needs pics. Could be super cool, could be lame
|
These will probably be released in a parallel universe or be sucked into a black hole, either way we'll never see them. :D
|
Can this be considered the first Fanatics influenced product? Or too soon to tell?
I expected Fanatics to push more variations of staple products. |

Sounds very 90s to me, kinda like the Topps Stars sets. It had that space look.

Love space/galaxy themed sports cards.
Hopefully these look end up looking nice |
Looking forward to building this set and Finest Flashbacks 1995 if they end up doing that. Buy singles of Sapphire and a few high end brands and I'm done with 2022.
