2022 Topps Now Platinum Memberships
QUESTION:
1) How does a person qualify for a Platinum Membership? I am assuming it's based on a prior year's financial ordering threshold and speculate it's at $100,000 or more spent with Topps Now in a year. 2) The perks they list, some sound like actual admission tickets, like to the 2022 Home Run Derby All-Star Game at Dodgers Stadium Then, there's what appears to be a "if you get yourself there, we'll hook you up if you pay your way to get in" perks like at the actual All-Star Game at an event they're putting together. And the National Convention Gift Pack sounds like, whether you attend that show or not, they'll send you that event distributed gift pack. It sounds like a lot of really nice premiums, but I wasn't sure how it works. How does this compare to the 2021 Topps Platinum membership perks? And did everything promised come through delivered proactively (by Topps, so you need not do anything and they deliver it to you) so you're not having to ask or chase things? It sounds really exciting and awesome, but wasn't sure how it all worked/works? THANKS !!! First rule of Topps NOW Platinum membership program...
1) - Don't talk (much) about your Topps NOW Platinum membership. Or so I've heard. :coffee: |

1) - Don't talk (much) about your Topps NOW Platinum membership. Or so I've heard. :coffee:[/QUOTE] 😂😂😂😂…it’s definitely one of those things you “enjoy and don’t mention”… OP, The “vague” answer to your question is, there are no defined #’s anywhere. You spend money, they pick people, those people spend even more money…that’s about it. It’s like asking “how many Green Dragon Optic Choice are there of each player?”….you will get 10 different answers, and they will al be made up because it’s not published… |
I thought I saw some Platinum Members that are part of Facebook groups openly solicit as well as non-Platinum members asking for help pre-ordering via the preferred member access Platinum Members have.
I wasn't sure if this was "legal" to assist or even monetize and sell in advance at profit or not. It seems counter-intuitive when you see there's many cards with a /5, /10, /25 and /49 print run that there might not be enough offer every Platinum Member, and there could/should be a limit per member of 1 and/or it being against policy to solicit orders from non-Platinum Members. I always see posts by regular folks like me, who often express frustrations of being shut out of releases that the Platinum Members get 1st dibs on and sell out before they hit the general public. I'm more curious than anything else on what the policy and protocol is, more so than delve into the secrets held by the Illuminati of that club. |
