Any real game used patches in football cards?

I just assume all Jersey/patch cards aren’t game worn. I used to get some up until about 2015 I think but I don’t even trust those. It’s why I basically only like non Jersey/patch cards and no sticker autos. Chrome, Prizm and Optic are generally what I like with Optic on card autos.

I have a Frank Gore patch auto from the 2021 XR Gamers set that states the date and game which the relic was used. It is from a preseason game. The fact that they made this seem special doesn't speak well to every other relic.

Crapnatics owns their own apparel. Less travel time to and from the racks. Patches will be even fresher when they take the helm.

yes they were. I believe it was gridiron gear for a few years they did that.

03 Classics did it as well. My Csonka is from that set and had the photo of the jersey on the back.

Well that's true, but nothing is total proof other than a video of the jersey being cut up and put in the card. But at least either way those are game issued jerseys at worst. It's been years since Panini even used those.

2006 National Treasures had game used jerseys. Rumor is Playoff (the company) was going to either sell their company or go broke so they just used everything they had in 06 NT.

Awesome job on the HOF collection - I have 203 of the 362 but I really don't count the coaches or non players. Would love to see some photos if you can post or shoot another link, the one attached does not work.
Would love to talk and pick your brain on it as I do go to local shows but it is getting harder to find vintage cards at these shows. Perhaps a thread just reflecting football HOF rookies and completing it.
