2023 MiLB Top Prospect lists
BA dropped today and no thread? I'm both shocked and also not shocked.
MLB Pipeline drops next week. BA's list looked fairly typical for them, a few surprises but ultimately fairly conservative on the youngsters / new crop, with more sprinkled in towards the back end. I think there were a few surprising omissions but I expect to see them on fangraphs and K Law lists. Noelvi Marte is criminally low IMO
|
Guess they're not really believers in dominguez.

Maybe the team change he seems like a nice prospect but he hasn’t put up eye popping numbers by anyway means ..very good ? Absolutely but amazing I wouldn’t go that far got to see him in double a first |
Dominguez??? Dominguez??? Dominguez??? Dominguez???

I like how Red Sox 29 year old Japanese import makes the list. D Backs and Orioles seem loaded Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk |
Orioles are set up for success sooner rather than later.
|
Does anyone know when Eury Perez is going to be in more products?
It looks like he’s only in Heritage Minors so far. |
Orioles are set up for success sooner rather than later.
It will have to be sooner because based on track record they won't pay anyone and they'll be gone as soon as they get close to free agency

So from that list, who make an Opening Day roster?
I got Oscar Colas, what say you? |
Dominguez is about to turn 20. Let's see how he handles a full season of AA ball. I think this year should be pretty telling on where he stands.

He did improve last year.. Plus if you see how he has been training this offseason he looks more fit. Doesnt make sense to have him that low in the list.. odds are he will be even better this year |

True Hopefully he is ready, which I believe he is. If you had asked me a year ago I would have said no |

James Wood made a massive leap. Volpe's stock dropped a bit too.
|
Where is Esteury Ruiz on this list or have I just gone blind suddenly?
|
Pipeline excludes guys coming over from Japan's NPB on their lists.
Might be coincidence, but I always think it's weird when so many prospects from the same org are listed sequentially, or in one case three in a row (Busch, Pepiot, Stone). |

As it should. Surprised Alvarez didn't drop after his cup of coffee last year in the big leagues |
