How do you block a bidder with a history of never paying when he wins.

I have a card up for auction and a guy is bidding who has a very bad history of never paying when he wins. ebenezer_75 is the bidders ebay name and i just happened to click on him and this non-payment is dominating his feedback
How do you block someone like that from Bidding ?

This is your friend!

I still feel like eBay should draft buyer accounts as soon as they hit "place bid," and refund the account should they not actually win. I know this will never happen, but this would be nice to stop the people who don't actually have the money on hand from wasting the seller's time.

ISO is great for protection on this, they charge you immediately when you win, you don't have a choice in paying

eBay needs to nut up and allow sellers the ability to leave negative feedback to buyers.

Apparently, eBay has ran the numbers/monies. It's in their best interest to keep allowing non bidders and other negative activity, while not allowing any recourse from the sellers or buyers being affected by said negativity. What does that say about eBay's overall community?

Thank you that is great

It’s a racket but there isn’t any serious competition so they don’t care…

Who doesn’t have a business license but relies on their baseball card sales for income?

The only people it should bother are those who make a living off of selling cards.

Strange comment.
I sell cards I pull of players I don't collect to help pay for cards of players I collect, not income.
It certainly bothers me.

eBay = more bad BUYERS than sellers

SaveMeTheGum 05-13-2023 01:26 PM

They really need to let you block bidders with 0 feedback. This is the worst part of eBay -- all the brand new accounts bidding up items and disappearing.

"Only set this requirement to block buyers with a feedback score:" this is in the buyer managment settings

That only applies to the above line "Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought
1
of my items in the last 10 days"

You can't just blanket block bidders with zero feedback score.
