Maya Moore - widely acknowledged to be a great of the female game, but I actually think she's still tremendously underrated and I have her as the clear cut GOAT of the WNBA. Wanted to get a "perfect" version of her first card (other than the Sports Illustrated for Kids one, which I have too, but non-graded as grading SIFK cards seems kinda gross to me).

Ed Wachter - who? The most celebrated of the earliest group of pros (born pre-1890), and one of the 4 basketball players given cards in Sport Kings. I already have the Nat Holman. Will eventually get the Lapchick & Burke.

Been upgrading my Kevin Durant PC while his cards are insanely cheap.

Right now his cards sell just slightly above guys like Damian Lillard and Kawhi Leonard, while players like Jokic, Giannis and Curry for similar cards sell for 2-10X

As somebody who watches every Nets game, Cam Thomas is an awful basketball player that will maybe trick 1 or 2 teams to give him a minimum when his rookie deal is over and be out of the league very soon. Does absolutely nothing to help a basketball team win games.

I'd argue he's even a below average offensive player because he doesn't cut, doesn't catch and shoot, doesn't pass, doesn't offensive rebound, and isn't great in transition. His defensive is not only god awful, he is lazy and doesn't play within the scheme calling for ad-hoc switches, etc. His only NBA skill is 1-on-1 isolation scoring. Hope he develops, but he's shown absolutely no improvement in any area of the NBA game that contributes to a team winning since he was drafted.

KD MUST win another chip to flip the script on his legacy. Getting Beal really did him a disservice because if it turns out Booker is actually the best player on a Phoenix championship squad (as he was clearly the best player last year with KD on the team) and Beal also helps carries, KD has cemented his legacy as a clear tier below not just LeBron or Curry, but clearly a tier below even guys like Giannis, Dirk etc. that won a real championship even if just 1. I've basically done the exact opposite the last couple years and dumped every valuable KD I own. His cards will continue tanking without a big script flip and one day probably won't even outsell guys like Wade or his peers like Jokic and Kawhi who have won real championships

i might have been just a bit sarcastic there, somewhere i might still have cassettes of kool moe dee, x-clan, eric b & rakim, kool g rap & polo, whodini, ices t and cube, ll cool j, too short, boogie down productions, and various other acts I found on the 'extra strength posse' lists in public enemy albums (my lazy cheat sheet or whatever)

but my cultural literacy has taken a steep decline since then

Could do worse that pick up an investment package consisting of the roster of athletes who will [URL="https://www.si.com/fannation/sneakers/news/the-new-balance-two-wxy-v4-makes-epic-debut"]be sporting[/URL] the New Balance TWO WXY v4: "Jamal Murray, Tyrese Maxey, Dejounte Murray, Darius Bazley, and Aaron Nesmith." All of these guys are still on an upcline and arguably will be running the league this year or next.
