*Mystery Solved* Just received my PWCC order... and someone elses LOL
***UPDATE*** I am making a new post in this thread with an update. The cards now belong to me, apparently.
I'm not sure what to do. I have no intention of keeping cards that aren't mine, but I am interested in connecting directly with the fellow buyer. I simply trust myself to complete this deal successfully more than I do PWCC. Any ideas on the best way to go about this without getting tricked? The cards are not very valuable - they are a bottom feeder like me. I also wish there was a way I could leverage this to do... something... to PWCC. They screwed me earlier this year on a card and I'm super frustrated they refuse to ship to me any other way than FedEx and inexplicably refuse to use packing lists. In fact, there are a couple cards here that I'm not sure whose they are. (hard to explain, just trust me) Other dumbass ideas like mine, sarcastic opinions, and jokes are also welcome. |
Just contact them for a pre-paid label and send them back, no need to overthink this. I get the criticisms of their operation.

The fact that PWCC still even exists just showcases how incredibly corrupt the hobby market is, honest people simply don’t patronize such places.
It says a lot about Fanatics that they chose to retain the name. |

Problem is, collectors want what they want, so they ignore what they already know, and continue to give them the business. |

Already covered this above Corruption is a dishonest, fraudulent, or even criminal act of an individual or organization, to make a personal gain or other unethical or illegal benefits. |
The only right answer is to contact PWCC and ask for a return label. They’re not going to provide you the info for another member, nor should they. You also don’t even know if those cards were requested to be shipped out.

Yeah, that last part. I thought of that, too. |

Is this about when ebay kicked them off b/c shill bidding? Are they even PWCC technically? I thought they were part of the Collectors family now? |
Send them back in on consignment
|
Post the images of the cards in this thread. So the real owner can immediately reply and give you their address.
|
I've had two COMC orders where I got a card I did not order, but I also got everything I did order. And they use detailed lists with photos of the cards on individual slips.
|
Not sure why you would do anything other than send them back to pwcc.

I had emailed and sent chat messages multiple times to PWCC this week with no reply. Finally...
Yazmin - The package you received are graded singles from Fanatics Collectibles as a part of the Hobby Rip Night product package! We apologize for the confusion. Me - I did not participate in the event you just referenced. Yazmin - A bunch of graded cards were sent to about 300 clients from Fanatics around the end of September as part of this. Me - And nobody else is confused about receiving cards they didn't order with zero communication or indication why they are in the package? Yazmin - Yes we had a lot of people reaching out to us about this. LOL |

No, it's about them being a fence and director for known card trimmers for a decade. Read all the trimming threads. |

I'm just not in those circles. I don't do vintage. I had no idea. |

It wasn't just vintage. |

I'm sorry I don't follow the same news you do. And while technically it's not all vintage, come on. Be real. You're just looking to nitpick someone on the web for no apparent reason. |

Rusty. Be real, come on. YOU asked the question first (if question marks still indicate a question) and he answered it for no apparent reason :)! |

Once again, deliberate ignorance to attack. He had answered the question. The implication was that since trimmers will sometimes trim non-vintage that I should have known about the PWCC something scandal to do with trimmers. |

LOL They changed their minds again. Now they are saying the cards are not mine. They belong in someone else's vault. They emailed me a shipping label and told me what to do LOL No asking. No gratitude for the five-ish times I had to reach out to them and for solving their problem. Just, "do this." And of course it's FedEx b/c they refuse to use USPS. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Because I don't trust them to get it to the actual owner as evidenced by their repeated ineptitude. |
