Got a few cases of 2021 Topps Chrome NPB that contain the red refractors and most of the oranges.
Hope he goes to the Yankees for my benefit! |

Dodgers need to sign him

Yamamoto is going to be a Yankee and Ohtani will be a Dodger. :D

Future Red Sox

Picked up a refractor of his back in February for $14, sent to PSA and it gemmed. Sold this week on eBay for $515 and I probably sold low lol. Glad I bought a bunch early. He will be fun to watch.

Any suggestions on boxes that could have his cards?
|
Please tell me they don't sign Yamamoto on Dec 7?

2021 NPB Chrome is his go to Topps Card. He has Japanese cards dating back to 2018. That said, a cheap way to get into his stuff is picking up a box of 2022 Bowman NPB on Blowout for $49. He has stuff in there. |

Just got done ripping a case of 2022 Bowman NPB... I got 2 Yamamoto Chrome out of 12 boxes. 12 Base Bowman Paper that are selling for ~$14-15 each. Bowman's NPB value lies in the possibility of 1-2 lower tier RC logo guys hitting. All of the 1st Bowmans are Developmental picks and, well, good luck with any of those guys being NPB stars, much less MLB relevant. In short, I would highly, highly advise against ripping 2022 Bowman NPB. |
Roki Sasaki > Yoshinobu Yamamoto

Maybe so, but we won't be able to watch him for three more years. |

There was maybe one pitcher that looked interesting. I do find it interesting that in Japan, outside of generational talent, it's mostly the pitchers that have success. It's probably bias from only seeing their best, but it seems like they know how to pitch vs throw more so than us pitchers. Sent from my SM-A546U1 using Tapatalk |

Very true. I'm sure Yoshi will be a stud as well. I'm just looking forward to the day roki is posted (assuming he stays on the same path). |
Roki is Electric but raw. He'll be a stud when he comes over to the US. Yamamoto is a complete pitcher Composed and well rounded. I see some early struggles but will be great.

I was looking through some cards the other day and came across a 21 Topps Chrome of his. Someone included as an extra with whatever card I bought. Sweet!
