Bedard Canvas YG - Extended?
 

Hey all (new here so "hi!" lol)

I just saw in one of my FB groups that the Bedard Canvas will be in Extended, as well as the Cooley YG. Just passing on the news...is there a UD person that can confirm that on the boards? (I recall seeing a name in the past when I've skimmed through posts)

It's correct. The solicitation for 2023-24 Extended Series was released and a few sites have posted the images. Cooley is shown as the preview for the YG and Bedard is shown as the preview for the Canvas YG.

Is it true that the Acetate YGs that used to be in SPA are also now in extended? If so extended could have some big upside

They were included in 22-23 Extended, can't say for 23-24 yet however.

they finally held back a good YG for extended, now the question is, how many other YGs got held back?

That makes sense. Bedard will likely still have a Canvas Program of Excellence in S2. If Bedard makes the All Star game, which I suspect he will, I wonder if he'll also get a canvas All Star card in extended....

What about Leo Carlsson?

Hopefully Ryker Evans makes it into Extended. I don't think anyone cares about that scrub Bedard.

I haven't heard anything about planning to release it early.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as confirmation; in the original images for Series 1, Tye Kartye was the example for the Young Gun Deluxe /250, and he is in Series 2.

That being said, I've heard the Bedard/Cooley news too, so seems like it's true.

I'm confirming the news, that Cooley base YG and Bedard Canvas YG are in Extended haha

Will any rookies not in Series 1 be in OPC?

Great info, already would of been the biggest year for Extended but this confirms it. Anyone keeping track how much higher did pre-orders go? lol because this seems like it could be a hidden gem. Only downside is his YG will be out sure but will there be a flood by then of the GDM cards, Artifacts redemptions, E-Pack sets etc.

Probably have a First Rounder card, too.

2 weeks before release so hopefully mid to late February.

Extended for less than s1 with a bunch of Bedards and Cooley? Im in.

I feel they are testing the waters, especially with the injury now, I think pre-sales could go up (or down for some drastic reason) depending on the reaction/prices to his YG. Extended has typically been discounted within like a month from usually a pretty affordable starting cost so I just feel places aren't ready yet to jack up the price crazy and risk holding the bag

$300 for a box of Series 2 seems nuts. Is there really enough demand to support this price with how many boxes they're making? Extended seems like a steal.
